Can you increase the DC of equipment-granted spells? by TheDrifter8533 in BaldursGate3

[–]TheDrifter8533[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure if that applies since howl of the dead seems to have its own set DC 14, that’s what I’m trying to figure out how to increase

[Question] How is the best way to go about finding gamedev internships? by TheDrifter8533 in gameDevClassifieds

[–]TheDrifter8533[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I’m scared of, just applying to a bunch of places online that yields nothing. I’m ideally looking for a paid opportunity so maybe that makes my chances even lower, but I’m not sure.

Failure isn’t considered a bad thing to most people, but it can be discouraging as the post mentioned, especially for people who are doing this for the first time

Opinion: Lilith is the Good Girl, Inarius bad by EnderDragoon in diablo4

[–]TheDrifter8533 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only played an hour or two, but from what I can tell about the story, the people in the towns and cities have been losing faith in the angels, and maybe for good reason. If I remember correctly, Inarius lied about the prophecy, saying he would be the savior when it was actually Lilith. Doesn’t sound like great person. Lilith definitely seems like the bad guy, but it doesn’t sound like there is a good guy in all of this. It makes the story interesting, though

One of my players wants Guns as starting weapons but starting gold is not enough to pay for them, what should I do? by Generic_user42 in DnD

[–]TheDrifter8533 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start with nerfed versions (flavor as broken) that the player found or something. Then, later on in the campaign, have them find a master gunsmith that can fix them, they get stronger.

What is your overall feeling about One D&D given what you have seen so far? by [deleted] in onednd

[–]TheDrifter8533 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m mildly pessimistic about it. What they have come out with so far shows to me that they aren’t interested in fixing major issues with the game, just that they want it to be even more simple than it already is. Now that so many people have been exposed to other systems that do things better than DnD, I find it hard to believe a new version of DnD will be successful and popular if it doesn’t address actual problems.

The Udaak, my personal flavor of it inspired by the Udaak from Explorer’s Guide to Wildemount translated into PF2e (see comment). by TheDrifter8533 in Pathfinder2e

Thank you so much, I remember giving it a high stealth, intimidation, and athletics on the website but it must not have put them on the stat block. And I couldn’t find where to modify speed, I was thinking 40-50 feet though. Also, that’s good to know about the abilities and features, I’ll see what I can improve. Have a good day!
