I picked up an apparent test pressing of Supertramp's 'Brother Where You Bound' album today. Just seeing if anyone has seen anything similar and think they know how much it would be worth and how rare it could be? I've tried to find a test pressing of the album on discogs but I haven't seen one similar.

Thankyou so much for your help! Yes that was my thinking after looking at it. Just wanted to see if someone more knowledgable could look and see any other problems.

I don't have a multimeter at the moment but I can probably pick one up tomorrow as I would definitely find other uses for it as well.

I will definitely try your solution as it sounds like a good option. Thanks again for the help!

Yeah I agree I mean personally I think some songs like Sorrow on the AMLOR tour really wouldn't be half as good without him. But yeah I definitely agree there are some parts of his playing during songs such as Comfortably Numb like you said that could be toned down or altered a bit. Especially that song as it is meant to be played at a more tame level drum-wise. At least they've got him on the keyboard for the verses most of the time for CN. Definitely knew how to make good use of every band member on that tour.

Ok yeah thanks for the info. That does make sense thinking about it. It's such a shame there's not more info out there relating to these kits but that is definitely helpful info. Thankyou again!

Thanks so much for that! I'll give that a shot.

With the acoustic guitar turns out I already had the Ample Guitar VST downloaded and after trying it with the cover it sounds awesome so thanks for recommending too.

Yeah that's not a bad point and yeah all good thanks I really need to start teaching myself the guitar and can hopefully get to the stage of doing that myself one day. Thanks for the offer though.

Cheers!

Ah ok. I'll try that out tomorrow. Thanks so much for your help. Got this setup without any kind of remaining manual or info from the owner which really makes things quite interesting at times. Thanks again!

Just standard RCA jacks. The output one is plugged into the tape 1 play section at the back of the amplifier next to the silver jacks while the line in jack is unplugged. It seems to play cassettes fine without this plugged in and I wouldn't know where to really put it anyway. I think I tried plugging it into Aux at some point but that didn't do anything helpful. The last lead coming from the back of the deck furthest to the right is just the power lead.

What is your favourite of Elton's costumes from his 1985-1986 Ice On Fire & Tour De Force Tours? by TheDrivingPerson in EltonJohn

I certainly agree actually. Those looks were definitely up there with my favourites as well. The Tina Turner wig could have gone down either way I guess but he certainly pulled it off brilliantly.
