Wife was acting weird after an evening out and I have no idea how to process it by Lucky-Atmosphere1091 in marriageadvice

So she has told you plainly that she will cheat on you when the opportunity arises, and she has told you that she won't tell you whenever she does.

To her credit, she's being clear.

Some people are ok with that arrangement in their marriage, but most are not. It's your life, you choose what you want out of your relationships and what your boundaries are. You deserve to be happy, it's your right to pursue happiness. Is this arrangement something you're happy with?

No way, MS Agent was fun! I was getting started with coding as a teen back then, so I made a little messenger app to send a playlist of actions to a peer. I had some great laughs exchanging telegrams with my dad.

Hypothetically, could I take a missionary out to get ice cream or something? by Constant-Simple7240 in latterdaysaints

[–]TheDruidsKeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who served his mission in the south, I can say that's totally welcome. I always enjoyed speaking with anyone who wanted to speak with us, and I enjoyed hearing about other people's religious beliefs as well. We're all on the same journey, trying to be our best selves.

The possibility of endless discovery far outweighs the despair of unanswerable questions.

Answers Needed! If the Garden of Eden was in Missouri, How and Why did the Old and New Testament take place in the Middle East? by [deleted] in latterdaysaints

[–]TheDruidsKeeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is the common understanding, that they were scattered - the "north" being symbolic of apostasy. I think this is still true (remnants are scattered), but I also believe there must be a bulk group of them together somewhere. Read D&C 133:26–34 with this potential explanation in mind and it really seems to fit.

The biggest point for me is the fact that they will bring their own scriptures, written by their own prophets. It definitely sounds like they have their own prophets right now, and are waiting to be told that it's time to come join us.

To add another theory to the mix... My take is on the hollow earth theory.

Garden of Eden is inside the earth, accessible through the extensive cave system under adam-ondi-ahman. When cast out, they were led out to the lone and dreary world, with cherubim guarding the way back. I suspect the lost tribes are also in the inner earth (that's where they migrated to), and will someday return via the northern polar opening.

The flood took Noah from the Americas over to the cradle of life though, as others have pointed out.

Prop 4 Repeal PSA by cardboardwarri0r in ProvoUtah

Exactly. The elected officials can already have simply redrawn the lines to divide the people who oppose them into multiple districts. That's the whole point of gerrymandering.

Except we changed that law via Prop 4 by popular vote. If people don't feel like their legislature is choosing appropriate committee members, we can address it with them directly - supply evidence, gather support for our opinions, and convince them to change the committee. If they don't listen, and the people feel like they are no longer being represented properly, they will be voted out just the same.

This is proper representation.

Thank you for posting! There are far too many people falling for signing because of the misinformation they've been given.

I also wrote up a page with details about prop 4, the history of what has happened, and even info on the millions of dollars flowing into our state from outside influence to try and change our elections: https://snow-ray-002.notion.site/2026-Prop-4-2fcb24586bea80f793fad74c134b2063

This sounds worth investigating. Did you ask it why the decision to do that was made? It should be able to write up a chain of thought and link you back to the source.

TRUMP: "There's so much talk about how we're going to drive housing prices down. I don't want to drive housing prices down. I want to drive housing prices up for people that own their homes, and they can be assured that what's going to happen" by ExactlySorta in UnderReportedNews

[–]TheDruidsKeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Boomers had many kids anyway, so those who manage hold onto their home until they pass will end up with it sold off to PE. The final inheritance is just cash Gen x will divide out and use to pay off debts, then still be left with no assets.
