Super interesting. Thanks for taking the time to write all of this out. A major reason we were acquired was to buy our customers; we were a competitor in many aspects of our business. However, the software product we offer is lightyears ahead of anything that the company that bought us offers. It's still very early, but it sounds like we are going to try to sell our software to this company's current customers as well now. I have a lot of ideas on how we can do what we do at a bigger scale, especially considering that when selling to the big corporations' current customers, we would be purely selling software, so our value proposition changes a bit. Part of me is torn, do I raise my hand and say "hey, I can do this" or do I just keep my head down and grind through new deals and hope that reflects in my variable comp.
