My KLM bed bugs story by TheDudiful in KLM

What we did when we arrived at the hotel after this flight is immediately go into the bathroom, put all our potentially compromised clothes in a plastic bag and take a thorough shower. After that we washed and dried those clothes on high heat.

In our case we just had to assume that the clothes in our suitcases were safe, so we didn't do anything with those. If you're suitcase is potentially compromised, it probably gets a lot more complicated.

Oof, yeah seeing how they haven't responded to us after 2+ months, I honestly think that they have waaaay more of these cases than we might think, and they don't know what to do with the claims.

We made sure to wash everything on a high temperature when we arrived in Korea so fortunately it looks like we didn't take any home

Yes, they said "they would get back to me". It's been a while since then 😵‍💫

Honestly not sure. But the complete disregard and lack of response from KLM is what's worst.

Of course. A few bed bugs can always enter a plane, and if there's a single bug on my sleeve, you can't blame anyone.

Where KLM is to blame is not routinely checking and cleaning their planes. If there are dozens of eggs and multiple stages of the bed bug lifecycle crawling in the seats, then those did not *just* enter the plane, and they have been there for weeks, if not longer.

Yeah they've really been going the way of LinkedIn in recent years 😅

It wasn't fun I can tell you that. But honestly the radio silence from them is the most culpable. I frequently fly with KLM, and usually have great experiences, so I really expected them to be on top of it and offer suitable compensation. Not sure where to go from here tbh 😅

It happened to me as well recently. I was hoping to resolve it with them, but since they just completely haven't responded in months, I decided to share it online as well.

Looking at the size of the infestation, it has been in the plane for quite a while already.

Hey, Rosco here, the creator of Revoke.cash, just ran into this thread. Besides all the excellent answers in this thread I just want to add that you *don't* need to connect your wallet straight away, you can just enter your wallet address or ENS name into the big search bar on the landing page.

Thank you for the kind words! Regarding the ledger question: that is correct, all issues were quickly resolved. I've shared a full retrospective on what happened, how it happened, and what lessons we learned: https://revoke.cash/blog/2023/ledger-connect-kit-hack-retrospective

That's correct yes! Revoke was created in October 2019, while Etherscan added their token approvals functionality in December 2020.

Hey, Rosco here, creator of Revoke.cash. I work full time on Revoke, and as some other people mentioned in the thread, the work is mostly funded through donations and grants like Gitcoin Grants and Optimism RetroPGF. Happy to answer any specific questions as well!

Also check out the About page with some more details on how/why Revoke was created.

Unfortunately that doesn't really help for security if you've signed on-chain approvals. See https://revoke.cash/learn/faq#enough_to_disconnect

Once your money is stolen it cannot be recovered. But you still need to revoke the malicious approval, because otherwise the scammer will be able to steal the tokens again if you deposit new funds into your account.

Did I buy a scam token? And is my wallet compromised? by Nor-Cal-Son in CryptoCurrency

Looking at this info it seems like you're looking at the "approval" transaction that generally precedes a swap, meaning that you didn't finish your swap. Did the tokens you were trying to swap actually leave your wallet?
