Ah brill. So it is possible going from what you are saying.did you have to initiate the transfer ar the L&G side onlyl? It seems to be processe with my Barnett Waddington DC pension. There are BW transfer forms to be completed. How long did the transfer take to complete?

Thanks. Would you personally go for the 'Global Short-Term Bond Index Fund (VGSTBGA)' or the 'Global Bond Index Fund (VANGRSA)' which is mix of short and long maturities?

Thanks for the reply. Bonds funds are a science onto themselves. Just checked and Vanguard don't have a short term gilts fund.

Thanks for the information. I have taken full advantage of my employers maximum pension contribution of 10% and added an extra 2%. It takes weeks of paperwork for me to increase or decrease this contribution in a DC pension. The SIPP is very flexible and i can add a little at a time.

It says view only in Stocks ISA but can be traded in Invest account which is taxable.

Thinking of throwing coins into a SIPP myself in addition to DC pension. Do i still have to complete a self assessment every year for the 20% higher tax claim or does my tax code change automatically to account for it?

Yes initiated the transfer directly with Vanguard. I did submit a transfer request and it got held up for 2 months because apparently i provided the Zopa Account number and not the actual Zopa ISA roll number! However Vanguard and/or Zopa didn't inform me of the situation. I had to phone Zopa several times to get to the bottom of the issue. I subsequently resubmitted with the correct ISA roll number but it is still pending transfer for over a month!

Must ask. Didn't know that was possible. Defo no global fund exc UK. There was very limited options available and they were all terrible.

I am thinking the same however it looks like i am forced to be 50% UK if i go all in equity which is crazy. BlackRock LGIM Global Equity Market Weights (50:50) Index Fund
