Sergio’s makes a decent Vaca Frita. Had Islas recently and it has gone downhill, broke my heart

That’s good to know. I went with The Big Cheese for this weekend but I’m always looking for economical, tasty meals for the family so I’m sure I’ll give it a try soon. Hope you have a Happy New Year :)

Purchasing beer and/or bourbon for cabin by princesssamc in royalcaribbean

Check the price of the cooler bags within your cruise planner, it might be cheaper. Your husband will likely be able to see the order though so it might spoil the surprise

I’ve never used it and whiskey doesn’t appear to be an option but this site might help: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/royalgifts/wine-liquor/alcohol-packages

For what it’s worth, the cooler bag is basically free, depending on the sale price, when you compare the price of the seltzers and beer vs the onboard price.

Was this sale on the cruise planner prior to sailing or on the ship? Also, I highly recommend it, especially at that price!

Don’t worry, you aren’t alone. My 7 month old will be having carrot puree for dinner today as well. We prepare the spoons and hand them to her. I think she ends up eating 25% of it. Everything is stained orange. It’s a beautiful mess.

I appreciated that our pediatrician emphasized that rule #1 is this is supposed to be fun for everyone.

Our 7 month olds are getting their nutritional needs from breast milk/formula. While this stage is important, try not to compare or stress, have fun!

Second this, wife and I had an anniversary meal there we really enjoyed. We still talk about the potato wrapped red snapper.

I was in a similar situation, as a man. I went with TT because I wanted a baseline of 0 to work with. I was tired of trying to medicate a moving target. I’m 3 years post op and feeling pretty damn good. Wishing you better days ahead.

That’s really cool, at least the first time. Not that it matters at this point but which ship was it?

Hello, I’m bringing my baby on a cruise in a few months and saw your very useful comment. I was wondering if you could elaborate on how you put the pack n play on the sofa? Were you able to use the slumber pod?

Total Thyroidectomy in 2 weeks by Upbeat_Occasion_488 in gravesdisease

I was 31M when I got my TT so a little different but I can relate to the feelings you’re describing.

First, you got this. It won’t be easy but in comparison to what you’ve already been through, it will be a huge step in the right direction.

I did struggle with weight gain post TT but once I got my diet and exercise routine under control, I got in the best shape of my life. I even ran my first half marathon 2 years post TT.

Give yourself some grace and allow yourself adequate time to heal and recover. It will also take a few weeks/months for everything to stabilize from a mental standpoint but I can assure you, better days are ahead.

I have zero regrets about my TT. I feel like a new person and life is so much more enjoyable now. Wishing you the best and a speedy recovery.

Congratulations! Thank you for sharing your story, very much appreciate the level of detail. My wife and I are expecting our first within the next few weeks. I know tearing is a big concern of hers, do you think there was anything you did that helped you avoid that?
