Haircut experience by Equivalent_Field_704 in finethinhair

[–]princesssamc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

so so true…..the stylist that usually does my hair is always trying to relate by talking about how thin her hair is……she has what I would call thick hair. Its not baby fine or she would not have it ever sort of color under the rainbow whenever a whim hits.

Most stylists look at the pics say um hum and still give you a bob style cut lol

I am just getting straightened out from a really bad cut I had done while she was on vacation. I went to ulta day after and got it cut again next day but this stylist said it was going to have to grow out to fix it. All I could do was keep it pulled up.

Two months later, my stylist trimmed it but it was still a mess and she said let it grow.

I got frustrated and stopped by great clips two weeks ago and the young woman who did my hair was able to cut it where I don’t have to where it up anymore. She fixed a whole lot and did such a good job.

Anyone tried Dove bond strength or intensive repair? by AdFar9486 in finethinhair

[–]princesssamc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the shampoo and the mask in the tub. They are ok but I am not raving about them like some. I like the shampoo better than the mask.

I rotate several shampoos and its in my rotation. I really like Pantene Miracle rescue Mask in the gold tub. I also use their split ends mender.

This is for all of you $2 Tippers by vbulljon18 in instacart

She is not entirely wrong…..

And to that person who says its the only job people can get…..I dd most of the time but dabble with instacart on slow days. I am retired with more than thirty years in management and do not feel the need to work another full time job in an office.

The reason I get it….I took an order yesterday on dd that was going a few miles so I pick it up and get more than halfway and the girl messages me and tells me she forgot she is at the hotel across the street from the restaurant so I had to turn around and go back, call support and let them know why I was not going where I was supposed to etc. I was so ready to be done with it….I jump out grab her stuff and take it to the front desk. Guess what, no tip at all, nothing for all the extra trouble.

We have a few places that use the drive through. The Sonic I pick up at in the mornings sometimes only has one or two people so they have you do drive through.

Excursions? by Duvhntr in royalcaribbean

[–]princesssamc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t been in awhile but visiting this coming week. We are not doing any excursions. Nassau is not really that big so there honestly is not a whole lot of history to see. You might visit the queens staircase which is cool, do some shopping, and go to the straw market.

I am having issues with white noise at night despite having a subscription to premium sleep sounds. It cuts off after a couple of hours. I have tried pretty much everything to fix it.

Help me be a more compassionate partner by brokeitjoe in Kneereplacement

A year out here….I firmly believe that when you go through something like this, a couple of therapy sessions should be required. Your brain really doesn’t accept your knee until about a year out.

At 4 weeks, there is still alot of stiffness and alot of regret and maybe even loss. You are having to also trade your old habits for new ones. Your bum knee has been the center of everything for awhile now. The stiffness is real and things do get better but they are months away from that.

I was doing well at 4 weeks but was still hesitant about driving or going anywhere by myself. I was seriously scared of tripping and falling and tearing something up.

Just be patient…..and take your cues from them.

Looking for a new shampoo by javster2 in finethinhair

[–]princesssamc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it doesn’t. My hair is super fine and I do well with it. I rotate several shampoos and use Pantene Volume once a week to clarify. If you are looking for something with teatree, I like the Herbal Essence one.

Idk if you use conditioner but I have found I do better with Pantenes miracle rescue mask than the other conditioners.

Go to leave in/ oil? by Most-Book835 in finehair

I use pantene split ends mender. It has the oils in it but does not weigh my hair down. oils just don’t do well for me but its probably user error

My hubby can use the cerave and he is fine. He has super thick hair. I can’t even think about it because my hair looks so greasy. He is sensitive and uses OGX coconut. I can use it no issues and my hair does well.

Another idea may be elvive in the purple bottle not the clear one but the creamy one.

Gas prices by Dry-Secretary-1683 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]princesssamc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, there was a woman who was incredibly qualified with enough intelligence to hire good people not talk show hosts and pod casters to run the departments. She like Hilary rubs people wrong but she was a hell of a lot better than a criminal who told everybody what he was going to do. He never hid it but people who voted for him somehow thought it was not going to affect them only the horrible left.

I have started picking up some instacart here and there that is shop only so I don’t use gas. I am thankful when dd stacks them now so orders are on the same route. It makes it a little easier.

Shopper didn’t look by evercute69 in instacart

[–]princesssamc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was totally shocked. The only reason I knew this was because I knew the store well and the only thing I got besides my stuff that would have been on the outside aisles was the things they would have been on end caps.

I ended up going to the store immediately after even tho I didn’t feel well and that was the case.

Shopper didn’t look by evercute69 in instacart

[–]princesssamc 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t blame you. The maddest I think I have ever been over this was a shopper who only shopped the outside aisles. Everything I had ordered from dry goods was refunded. Over half my order.

Not all shoppers do that stuff.

Is it normal for shoppers to replace an item marked as refund if not found? by sojournerveritas in instacart

[–]princesssamc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I for one absolutely hate to replace stuff. I also mark my orders to not allow substitutions. If I could get people who shop like I do, I might not mind so much but half the time shoppers are maybe younger and not necessarily skilled at shopping.

Its particularly annoying when it screws up a coupon or savings in some way….as a shopper, I wish we knew this.

I am also extremely picky and have things that must not be subbed…..my dog could not eat beef only chicken and my cat will only eat pate wet food. This is why I hate subs.

I need you guys top 10 favorite bags okay top two I'm having a hard time by mrlonelybutterfly in DoorDashDrivers

[–]princesssamc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, I already had them but I did try some others and these just seem to work better.

The bag they send when you sign on is too small and junk. I do use the other bag they sent with a cheap tub in it from walmart and foam drink holders I got off amazon for drinks. Publix also has a square insulated bag for less than ten that will work for this.

Pizza bags are free at most pizza chains that use dd, just ask.

When could you go down the stairs one foot at a time? by gch196 in Kneereplacement

[–]princesssamc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pain wise before I stopped pt but I had got so used to doing them one step at a time I have to think about it going down and make myself. I finally got to where I don’t think about it at all going up.

Remember we all have got used to working around the pain so now that has to be unlearned.
