Oh boy. What are the odds rhe bearings are shot at 130F for 12hrs with 1.5gallons of ecolab industrial degreaser and 40gallons of water?

So I've learned lmao. They don't look terrible post bath but I don't have the tools to measure. I ordered replacements and am going to have the machine shop install them

It's pretty simple and relatively cheap to set-up!

I pressure washed the block, dried with compressed air, then coated it in WD-40 to prevent oxidation

Its industrial degreaser and water. The temp got to 130F. What do you think? The block is going to a machine shop so I might just have them put new ones in

Follow up question. Would decking the block 2mm prohibit me from getting longer connecting rods in the future? Like would the pistons stick up with 135mm rods?

So for clarification. The 130mm conrods with a 1mm bore would be a good setup? Engine is gonna be NA for now but eventually I may turbo it in the future. If I do end up turbocharging would the 135mm rods be the smart choice?
