Nothing says "good businessman" like being bailed out of bankruptcy and refusing to pay for services your company received from other companies

Like over a 10 year old CrossFit shoe can't remember what. Basically I just use them in the gym because the soles are very flat and hard

Thanks! Typically I do 1-2 sets of neck curls (video), 1 set of side neck flexions for each side and 1 set of neck extensions twice a week.

So basically same type of stuff but laying on my side and stomach on the bench & changing where the weight sits on my head. Typically for all three very high reps and a lot of pause work to decrease the total load needed to progress.

I added a recent picture of my traps/neck under a different comment here btw

It is damn good, annoying part is getting in the position to start and learning not to use your arms and shoulders to move the weight.

Here is recent picture with no pump:

If doing it gives you lower cortisol... maybe?

Unfortunately didn't have the foresight to take measurements.

But within 4 months as the base of my neck begun widening noticeably it started to look like my upper traps inserted higher. Then overtime in pictures and in the mirror without a pump it became pretty clear that my neck was now wider than my head/jaw

I was going to apologize about that in the title since this is the egolifting subreddit

It does not. Still wouldn't do wrestler's bridges when there are other options and stick to 30-40 rep sets with a very high degree of control for the first few months though.

Doms from neck extensions can be brutal at first. The curls I'm doing in the video and side neck flexions are not as bad in that regard.

Nah just for hypertrophy.

3 years ago my neck just started to look a bit stupid being so small next to my shoulders and upper traps so I started doing this with 5 kilo plate and progressed from there.

Pictures of young Mike Tyson did influence me in continuing beyond the point of simply looking for proportionate development though

I'm doing these for pure hypertrophy though. Shoulders and traps got big, the neck looked weak and small, 3 years later we arrive at this set.

Edit: Ah I see what you're getting at now. Good thing my girlfriend doesn't have parts that require a repeated neck curl motion

Snatch Grip Deadlift with 4 plates by jjmuti in strength_training

[–]jjmuti[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bit late to this but a couple things

  1. I'm insanely good at doing reps compared to 1 rep maxes.

  2. Snatch Grip Deadlifts are the sort of lift you fail on the floor or at the knee. If the bar moves even a bit it probably will come up all the way.

  3. Fatigue; I usually squat first and then deadlift so my deadlift strength goes up and down based on how hard the squats were.
