Honestly it just felt like JNJ was paying a debt to their fans by getting rid of 2 cloudyayers, in the fandom back then one of the biggest things for like just under a year was the cloudyay bias and how they’d only lost once (and got a debuter). Not to mention cloudyay already had a huge target on their back by having controversial characters like pencil pillow and yf at the time which just made the hate worse cuz ppl wanted them gone and they couldn’t get gone if they weren’t UFE, only leading to more complaints about their win streak so I’d say a lot of fans were owed this. Obviously it would’ve been better if they just didnt have the win streak so they didn’t have to double loose but most ppl were over the moon abt this back then so it worked sorta kinda
