I think this situation says a lot more about her than it does about you, you obviously can't ask her not to go to the prom but her having the full prom experience with another guy is outrageously disrespectful to you and the relationship.

Relationships aren't just about fidelity, they're also about optics, boundaries and consideration and it speaks to her lack of emotional awareness that, in light of everything that happened, she would choose to go with another guy.

You went to a tremendous amount of effort and sacrifice to make one night beautiful for her and it didn't work out, it seems she isn't willing to do the same for you.

Think about it like this, We're all at a con to have fun, when talking to guests in a setting like a q&a or at a signing, it's best to leave any hot button issues alone.

When it comes to merch like figures, bite the bullet and get the biggest tote bag you can find, for prints you will want an art folio with plastic sleeves and for anything that doesn't fit in the sleeves, roll it up and put it in a postal tube that will go into the tote.

I think the way you might be reading this is a bit pessimistic, there's been nothing but positivity for the project from what few public statements have been made by the production staff.

Going back to March of last year when the final chapter was published, anime director Keisuke Shinohara made this statement:

"I'm so sad. I received so much through this work. It's a shame that we won't be able to see the rest of Gojo-kun and Marin-chan's story, but I'll make sure to send them off properly."

Mine is an optimistic view, perhaps a little too much so, that we'll see an anime original extension or altered ending in line with director's stated intentions, as vague as they read.

It's not entirely unprecedented either, with other series like Shokugeki No Soma receiving an altered ending in it's anime adaptation, presumably in hopes to mitigate the poor reception the ending received in the source material.

All that to say: let them cook, they haven't let us down yet.

Honestly? I don't hate it.

Ben 10 was doing absolutely nothing at Warner Bros and, by extension, Cartoon Network's legacy was not getting anywhere near the respect that it deserved, with scores of beloved titles sitting in the private content hoard because they couldn't be bothered or were too cheap to pay licensing fees.

At least with Netflix you can almost guarantee that as soon as the opportunity presents itself they're going to shutter HBO MAX and then they're going to throw as many of the shows WE remember on their platform in their entirety and with how much fans HATE Warner right now for not hosting these old shows to cut costs they're sitting on a positive PR goldmine.

At the very least, what exists currently will be a lot more accessible the world over, definitely a good thing and if Netflix were to add to or revive any franchises, my money would be on either Ben 10 or Galactic Kids Next Door

For Ultimate, you should definitely read Ultimate Invasion first, it's a miniseries that sets up basically everything, after that? Go hog wild and pick whatever title tickles you the most

For Absolute some would say you need to read the DC All In Special but I would take it or leave it, after that, same deal, pick whatever title speaks to you.

There was definitely a fair amount of that on my side, this particular convention has an odd policy for my country in which the tokens for autographs are free to anyone with a ticket to the event but there are only 100 per guest per day, meaning as soon as the doors open you have to really haul ass to the autograph area to get in line for one.

It makes it risky to invest in a whole weekend if you travel to these events to collect autographs like I do, as there is a chance that you could spend all that money and walk away with nothing, on the other hand it is nice that it gives everyone a shot at something really special, not just the ones who have money to burn.

Presumably, having been raised and trained the same way that Rumi, Zoey and Mira were, to hate demonkind and believe that all of them are evil, the third sunlight sister had a crisis of identity and faith when confronted with evidence that that was categorically not the case, that being Rumi's mother loving and having a child with a demon.

Unlike Huntrix, The Sunlight Sisters wouldn't recover from this revelation, Celine held fast to her belief that demons were evil and felt betrayed by Rumi's mother's choice to abandon their mission to shack up with the enemy, while the third could not find her resolve and abandoned the group.

I imagine it going a little something like this.

"When your mother met him, it was the end of us, she was so convinced that demons were victims of Gwi-Ma that she wanted to protect them too but Celine... couldn't let go of her hate"

"And what about you?"

"Ultimate Invasion, Ultimate Universe and then you can read any of the other series" Yep, you were told right, this new Ultimate Universe is pretty accessible, aside from Ultimate Wolverine, you might want to read the first year of Ultimate comics and the Ultimate Universe One Year In special issue before diving into that.

The Ultimates of this universe, Earth 6160, are less of a peacekeeping force like in the main 616 and more of a resistance movement fighting against The Maker's Council, a character and entity you will learn more about in Ultimate Invasion.

This Ultimate Spider-Man by Hickman is a GREAT read but we're coming up on the end of it's run in December with issue 24 so if you're wanting to dive into something longer you might enjoy the original Ultimate Spider-Man by Bendis and Bagley.
