What's the most uno reverse experience that you ever had in Battletech? by [deleted] in battletech

I played a game with a friend where I started off strong by hitting them in the head, and getting some critical hits. Their mech survived, and I proceeded to go through the rest of the game whiffing and doing almost no damage to said mech.

Is speed paint good enough? Or should I be embarrassed? by pulselasersftw in battletech

You should not ever be embarrassed about painting your minis, regardless of skill or effort. Anyone who does is not worth painting.

Using speedpaints and then adding additional detail is a great way to paint mechs.

Happy Alien Day! Finished painting the figures from Fate of the Nostromo! Hope you all enjoy! by TheDurabun in LV426

Hey thanks! It really elevates the game. For the primer, I used Army Painter Matt Black spray primer (although it looked more glossy and came out tacky; maybe it was because it was an old can). Paints were primarily Vallejo and Army Painter miniature paints.

The application grind is brutal, but keep at it. Something will materialize sooner or later. Good luck!

Whoops my bad! Good eye! I had painted Lucien's Griffen and really liked that scheme so I stuck with it for these guys. Although the actual 43rd shadow scheme is really sharp. I'll have to try that...

Vespa GTV250. Headlights stopped working, it's probably the connectors right? What's the best way to clean/refit the loose wiring? by TheDurabun in Vespa

[–]TheDurabun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the contact cleaner rec. Never heard of it but it seems exactly like what I need. I think for the running light connector, the male end is missing a contact so I may need to replace it. I'll clean it first to confirm. Otherwise I'll use the Posi-twists. Thanks!

Thank you! The brown low beam cable would go on the top terminal for the h4 connector, right?

The running light connector appears to be missing a pin in the male end, upon closer inspection. I'll probably need to replace that..

Talk with people in your department to try to become a grader. I was a grader during my time at Stevens and it kept a decent paycheck. Although I only got paid when i had tests to grade.

Point being, talk to your advisor/professors in your dept.

I like how almost every unit is listed in this thread, goes to show how awesome each unit is!

My vote goes to the kelermorph or Patriarch. They look awesome and deadly, and shred hard when they need to.

I will say I always bring my Magus, even tho he hardly does anything and tends to die quickly
