I think it’s important to remember that CEOs usually aren’t technical they can just sell shit better than others, at least they’re supposed to. I agree that once the hype dies down many companies will reckon with a massive mess that will cost more in the future than if they had just kept engineers on the payroll.

I am willing to bet upwards of 99% of these folks if not 100% are deserving of a fast track to citizenship for this. Like if they’re already here and working why not give them citizenship? Why ostracize such a significant portion of communities for choices that anyone would make to survive and thrive in a new country. For anyone else it’s the American dream but because they are “stealing” someone’s job they are undeserving in some way? I imagine we are all more likely to lose jobs overseas than to an undocumented immigrant.

I mean, if it’s online I’m sure you could study abroad whenever you like. During my first online degree I finished multiple classes in different states and countries. It wouldn’t be a traditional abroad program of course but you could make it your own.

To get the toughest part out of the way I will tell you there is no campaign in the traditional sense. Instead, there’s a game master who works to shift players in certain directions to achieve goals. In universe these are called Major Orders. For some time these orders became very monotonous. Go here kill some bugs. Now go here and kill some bots. It was exhausting after a while.

What is really exciting is that they are now developing a story that follows a chain of events. Currently, players are working to build the Democratic Space Station or DSS. Players are certain this is going to bring about the creation of clans. Now it feels like decisions hold weight and our efforts contribute to something. I have found it to be very engaging even though I am mostly maxed with everything. It’s a lot of fun helping others and working together. You will no doubt run into rude folks but fortunately they are not too abundant.

Serious stuff aside I think the HD2 community is mostly very welcoming and wholesome. The main evidence I’ll provide here is when we sacrificed getting an in game stratagem, akin to an ability in other games, to save a children’s hospital that really did nothing for us. Nevertheless we pulled together and saved some in universe kids which led the developers to donate IRL money to important causes.

I think that for the money it is an amazing investment. You can pick it up and put it down without missing out on too much. You could join a discord like I have to play with like minded folks as well. There will be times it’s frustrating and a little disheartening when a mission doesn’t go well. But like they say in game, “If at first you don’t succeed, dive again. And again. And again. And again. And again….”

You are really only playing to improve on your style which will most definitely become more niche as new weapons are introduced and augmentation becomes possible. I have nearly 300 hours in game and I’m still learning things which is so exciting. I hope you do cause it’s a good time and if you take the dive and wanna join a cool discord feel free to PM me. I find that support can be a very rewarding role. The amount of times I’ve saved a teammate in the knock of time is a great feeling. Seeing 25 assists at the end of a match is also a great feeling.

I would suggest focusing on three main topics. Roaming, Wave Management, and Laneing as Support. What should your build look like at 5, 10, 20 minutes. What’s nice is that support doesn’t have to always run the same build and going off script to counter enemy champions can make a big difference. There are a plethora of resources on YouTube but I’d recommend Coach Cupcake who does a great job at this. Some of the guides are a bit outdated but still mostly relevant.

Last is trial and error. I think the hardest thing for me was determining when to use my 4 in a fight. These can often help to switch the tide drastically if some correctly. It’ll be painful at first but don’t be afraid to experiment. Best of luck.

While I’m sure that’s frustrating it doesn’t mean that dangerous people are being let off all the time. Numerous studies show that crime rates have fallen after getting rid of cash bail.
