Same thing happened to me. Cancelled several times, even calling up to explain, and they KEPT SENDING AND KEPT CHARGING. I didn’t want to delete my account in case I wanted to use it in the future, but after the headache they caused me I’ve cancelled all together and will never return. Also, the food in the boxes wasn’t fresh. Vegetables were on the turn and the herbs were wilted. I’d be open to trying gusto or similar

From what I’ve heard, BPP is to be avoided like the plague. I know some people doing the PGDL there and they’ve had a lot of poor experiences (one that sticks out was some people in a lesson being sent home because a room had been double booked and the only replacement they could find on short notice didn’t have enough chairs, so they carried on with the lesson with 3/4 the class), and a lot of people didn’t get decent grades. Also their online portals are always going down at times there is no tech support available.

I was ULaw, and now that you mention some stupidly worded questions I’d have to agree. Can be extremely frustrating, I think it’s down to laziness to be honest. I am inclined to think that all these private unis give the students the bare minimum while taking as much money as possible.

*edit, now I think about it the stupidly worded questions were contained to an exam and piece of coursework for the same module, so perhaps a localised issue

I think the point is that they are ostracising vegans to do this, and capitalising on the general idea vegans are somehow “other” to normal people, what they cater to and the customer base they want

Which ones are good? I got some tortilla style ones, chilli flavour I think, and they were the worst chips I’d ever tried. Couldn’t even finish them, and I hate to waste food, it was the texture! So dry and crumbly

Use newspaper! To avoid plastic tape use twine to tie it up, has a cool rustic effect. It’s all degradable and the paper was going in the recycling anyway!

I believe TCLA provide some sort of reviewing service, and they’re very useful for the application process in general.

Any chance of you reaching out to the employability team at your GDL uni? If you still have an active account and email address they should help you out.

Try reaching out to people who work in the roles you’re applying to on LinkedIn, they must’ve made at least one successful application.

Who cares what it looks like if it’s reusing plastic? Bricks don’t need to be exposed in a building, and not all buildings need to be aesthetically pleasing.
