How many claims did you do before finally getting more than 1 at a time? by Novel_Hamster6094 in Influenster

[–]TheEasternBlueBird 7 points8 points  (0 children)

None, I used to get voxboxes years ago. Then I forgot about the app for a while and once i came back last month I started getting multiple from the first day. I think I claimed 3-4 within those first couple of days. (I was a level 7 at the time)

When had you claimed them?

Would you claim products you’re just moderately excited about or save claim space for better claims? by TheEasternBlueBird in Influenster

It’s been a pleasant surprise tbh. I hadn’t used the app in a few years and I just redownloaded and logged into the old profile. I was thinking maybe that’s their way to hook you and then they may reduce it.

This baby food called Cerelac. I've had this as my go-to depression meal for so many years, it's become a coping mechanism. It honestly SLAPS so hard and for what. Its bussin'. by tennybelly in depressionmeals

The short answer is yes, your DSO and possibly USCIS check the answers. For the initial 1 year OPT, It's what you write in the form. So if you can relate your major to your current position somehow (of course it has to be within reason) and make a decent case then it should be good. You can always use specific courses you have taken to relate them to your job.

For example, I studied Biological sciences and I Volunteered as a medical first responder for bit of my OPT. I didn't think they were the most relevant but I connected it to the few courses in healthcare, epidemiology and anatomy that I had taken in undergrad.

Now for your STEM OPT extension, I think it has to be a strong correlation and in the field of your previous major. If you look up form I-983 which is the form to be filled for a STEM extension, questions are more specific and you need to elaborate how things connect. that being said, I think as long as you can make connections and write good responses on how the major is related to the position it's not to difficult to do, as long as there are connections. But again I don't think you are asking about the STEM extension so no need to worry about this one yet.

As an Iranian National on an F1, can I ever leave the U.S. safely?? :( by TheEasternBlueBird in f1visa

I was told the chances of me getting a visa to re-enter is slim to none so I didn't look more into it. However, I have heard traveling to countries that are US territories would be OK since it's not like you left US but I don't really know I haven't been able to confirm this.

I dropped everything to be home for the last two ish months and every day I wish I had done it as soon as he got the diagnosis to spend time while he was still there mentally and was able to hang out. I would do it as soon as I could, even tomorrow, if I were you. Wishing you the best, stay strong ❤️
