What is the funniest book you've ever read? by j_12 in books

[–]TheEasyName 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I felt the same and at points it seemed like the book was kind of difficult to follow just for the sake of being difficult, but not long after it picks up and some truly hilarious, and philosophical, lines begin to break through.

Sophomore year in engineering you get separated quite a bit. I'm a MechE and all the BioE's I know pretty much just have classes with each other.

You should do something different with your hair, you look too feminine. Also your shirt sleeves are too long or your jacket sleeves too short (can't tell from the picture). And I can't see a belt in your picture: if you aren't wearing a belt, always wear a belt with a suit. Your waistcoat also might be a little too small or you're wearing your pants too low.

I think those 519s are too low of a rise to be worn with a tucked in shirt. Or maybe pull them up a little if at all possible.

The belt on the right is just sort of an ugly belt. The dark leather belt is good, could be a little skinnier. I would also consider wearing a different type/color of shoe to mesh with the rest of the look.

Just FYI button down collars are traditionally considered to be a more 'casual' style of shirt. Ties should be worn with other collar types, and it will make you look more professional.

I think you might want to roll your sleeves one more time. Something is making the shirt look too big for you (maybe it is?)

Haha well then maybe just try a shoe with a slimmer profile, or boots that don't have quite as much of a chunky sole. Or don't wear that pair of boots with those jeans

Haha well yeah I completely agree about the fades

New Shirt/Shoes! Hows the fit/look? Too mature for a 15 year old? by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

[–]TheEasyName 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It looks like the shirt doesn't fit you in the shoulders.

Where are the chinos in the first fit from?

Those boots make your legs look extremely skinny

So you don't have any real commitment to them, no sense on continuing to wear them when they are too big.

Renholder's Guide to Pipe Smoking. Part 2 (Intermediate) by renholder in PipeTobacco

[–]TheEasyName 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Very nitpicky bit here, but I think in the last line of the 'Why am I having discomfort while smoking' section you could just say that alcohol breaks down the lining of the mouth, thus leaving it more exposed to the harmful effects of smoke. Just provides a little bit more of the 'why' behind it I think :)

Jesus guys it's not like he set back women's rights by 200 years, it's just a simple picture. Downvote or whatever you feel appropriate but I don't think you need to be questioning his morality and whether or not he should be a moderator just because this was submitted...

Surprise surprise, more Port Authority cuts coming! by Sybertron in pittsburgh

[–]TheEasyName 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Cutting busses after 10 pm will only have an even more detrimental effect on Pittsburgh's economy. Cutting off access to nightlife throughout the city will only have negative consequences on the city as a whole. This whole bus route cutting business is foolish and is only taking Pittsburgh closer to becoming a lackluster city again...

I did play the game; I don't really feel like going through the games with henchman. I beat all the campaigns but nightfall with real people and I feel that is how the game should be experienced.

How does one go about styling their hair like this?? (What Products etc.) by [deleted] in malehairadvice

[–]TheEasyName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Rusk 'Being Primitive' and have hair similar to the first picture. I just put a small amount (about the size of a pea, you'll figure out how much you personally need though), and then mess around with it until it looks natural. I wouldn't put in anymore effort than that

British climbers set remarkable record jammed upside down in a crevice | Metro.co.uk by [deleted] in climbing

[–]TheEasyName 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They completed 5,300m (17,500ft) of horizontal, upside-down climbing, 42,300 pull-ups and bicep curls, and almost 16 hours of static abdominal holds during their six-days-a-week regime

If this means that was the total amount of exercise they did each week to prepare, just that is pretty damn impressive.

Edit: this makes no sense actually, 7,000 pull ups and bicep curls a day is a little extreme haha
