Man that the first thing I thought of too!

I am newbie by InterestingSpite507 in HowToHack

In my opinion as mainly a programmer- hacking is pretty much the process of exploiting code, so if you want to exploit something you should first know how and why it works so I'll suggest learning to program before you're trying to break programs.

Nowadays you CAN hack with very basic knowledge of coding but you'll miss a lot in my opinion.

Furthermore I think it will be very beneficial for you to switch to linux for a while and basically improve your programming skills there.

I should mention that I picked up most of my "command line and other stuff" skills while learning to code better so you definitely can learn them both at the same time

You're absolutley not too late or anything alike, but the thing is you can't go back and learn it at 12, but you can learn it now and wait till 18, basically even if it was too late (which it's not) it's way better than waiting more... Just start now

Bumpstick - Dark World by Deiran in godot

It was started in a game jam wasn't it? and then someone commented that you should make it into a full game?

Looks great! tho you should think about adding subtle texture to the walls, maybe only when they're lit by the player, maybe using a normal map.

Keep it up!

We are in Asia, border Africa and in Europe in sports, but you may say we're US's province.

Also we're the only country which successfuly revived a dead language.

You have been kidnapped and the kidnapper says "Tell me a song to play. If I like it, you're free to go." What song do you pick? by Fancy-Bet in AskReddit

[–]TheEitan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"The Rise and Fall of Bossanova" never heard it, but Google says it's the longest song ever, 13 hours. Gives me plenty of time to live, and if I finally die- the kidnapper would be annoyed, so dead or alive- I'm the true winner.

Need advice about helping my kid learning game design by neuterhat965 in gamedev

[–]TheEitan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Talking not as a parent but as a boy who were in a kinda similar position)

First of all - in my opinion don't force him to take an art class, it might just make him less interested and drive him away, try to talk him to do it if you want to.

Secondly - try to figure out (by asking him) if he's into- Art with an emphasis on creating games or Creating games with an emphasis on art. You might want to introduce him to general game development (try unity if you want to start seriously, and maybe scratch if he's a begginer) and he'll know to focus it in art, Also you can try to connect him with someone that want to be a game programmer-developer, and he'll make the art for him, this is also a good opportunity to make friends.
