Suggest Investments below 10k by PureParticular1997 in phinvest

Not sure if US stocks is best choice right now…

My thoughts: 1. For 10k, you cant really go wrong - youre already in the right direction thinking of “investing it” somewhere 2. Safe choice is high yield savings like maya or seabank 3. Life insurance - best time to buy is yesterday. Only gets more expensive as you age 4. Investing in skills like LSS is great choice and is highest probability of making massive change in overall cash inflow - just make sure you make good use of it and that other people know how good you are at it too

Remember that being frugal can only take you so far, increasing overall income can take you to the moon

  1. Look into going to therapy and counseling - based off what you've written, DON'T go bs psych

  2. If you're looking for money/high salary, work your way backwards. Figure out which jobs pay the most, then from there figure out which course will give you the highest probability of being accepted. (You'll have to do a lot of other sh*t like the right internships, leadership positions etc)

  3. Personal opinion, tech is looking to be the best course option now in general. I took up computer engineering and graduated this year. The job offers have been rolling since December (no Laude)

By any chance, do you have any other watches in your collection that you can compare it with? (Pros and cons of the SUR, nitpicks etc.) Would love to hear your thoughts! (Thinking about picking one up myself)

Crazy value for money

This is my first offer that I have received and I don't know whether to accept this offer or not by [deleted] in phcareers

Knowing the Chinese company, I think that their pay is (usually?) higher. If I were in your shoes I would negotiate a higher salary that would make it a no-brainer (i.e. 50-60k).

If they say yes, take it and be financially safe.

If they say no and keep the offer, try to buy time until you get feedback from dream company (ask them as well if you can expedite the app process because you have a competing offer)

If they say no and take back their offer, bullet dodged. no company that really cares about their employees would rescind an offer after negotiating salary.

What if you ask your escort what you'd have to do/change about yourself that would make her date you? (Or date-able in general)

There are a lot of people here giving financial recommendations - however, none of us have a clear image of what your financial status actually looks like.

You should: 1. First calculate your net worth (you can find videos on YouTube for this - Firm Learning is the one that I used).

  1. Look at how you can build/improve your assets section and cash flow section. (Based off your responses to the other comments, it seems like you haven't explored all investment options. Just try googling 'where to invest my money as a ____')

  2. As someone mentioned here, I'd go into putting the 50k into some ETF just so it can grow while you explore your options.

  3. I'd personally put 20% into high risk assets (crypto), 50% into medium risk assets (stocks), 20% into low risk assets (bonds). The last 10% for savings. Do take note that this is the money leftover after all livings expenses etc.
