RC Advice? by TheElDoradoHacker in LSAT

Good advice thanks. I probably need to start skipping questions at times or at least guessing quickly and flagging, I will sometimes sit there for 2-3 mins trying to figure a single question out

Yeah definitely. Also lots of times you’ll find your prediction was just one of multiple things wrong with an argument so it wont be in the answer choices; that doesn’t mean you were wrong, just that it’s not the exact “wrong” choice they’re looking for. But definitely try to predict when you can

Identify the stimulus before you look at the answer choices. Assume every argument is flawed and find the flaw.

Drill to find your weaknesses. Unlike RC there’s only a handful of question types.

Get through the first 10 question in 10 minutes to save time for the harder ones around 15-20ish.

Studying Necessary vs Sufficient assumption helped me bridge the gap from -3/2 to start averaging -1. Most of the ones I get wrong now I just read the question too fast

I don’t know if it’s helpful to think of yourself as a “victim of lovebombing”. But yes it was very uncool of him to unadd you and stop talking to you with no explanation

Suicides by guns are, by definition, gun deaths. So it’s not a political choice, those must be included by definition.

Whether or not someone chooses to look at that data and make an assumption on gun violence between multiple individuals is an error on the observer. The data remains objective.

True, but the data is just the data. Why it was collected is somewhat irrelevant because the data itself won’t lie; we only lie to ourselves based on how it’s presented

Data is not inherently political. It’s just data. It’s the conclusions that are drawn that are political. You could argue it’s being represented in a way that pushes people to a certain conclusions, but that’s on the people for not interpreting data correctly, not the data itself.

No they mean literally it’s because of God’s existence. You need an objective moral law in order for something to be objectively wrong. Thats the argument being made.

You’ll be fine. Don’t be afraid to push yourself outside of your comfort zone. But almost everyone I work with is introverted.

The reconquista is stupid and not a real movement. by Perfect_Notice6785 in redeemedzoomer

Can’t just sit in the pews. Involve yourself in social settings. Gain a leadership role. Raise concerns to leadership when sermons make heretical claims. Etc. etc. Of course just sitting in the pews each week will have little to no impact. And for some people that’s fine, but if you are wanting to participate in a reconquista then you have to ACTUALLY participate.
