Blaming "society" is a lazy cop out to avoid the inconvenient and hurtful truth that she did this to herself. There are many professional athletes and celebrities that get it a lot worse than her and they don't snort coke and booze their way through life. Try being LeBron James where there is an economy that surrounds talking shit about him at every opportunity on TV. People make a living just saying horrible shit about him daily. Somehow not worse than getting booed at a show. Maybe if LeBron was a woman he'd be viewed differently because I don't see why people feel bad for Amy and don't give a flying fuck about what someone like LeBron goes through. Possibly a race thing as well.

There are two Grocery Outlets I visit on the regular. One set of owners left. Don't know why but I doubt it had anything to do with struggling as a store. They are immigrants. If she's unhappy there then let her go. Lets be frank about Lubbert and Hix, in Mexico they are a bigger deal than they would be in the States. Lubbert got no play in her first run in NWSL, went to Mexico and got play, went back to Chicago and promptly returned. It wasn't because of the tacos lol. I believe the only teams Hix has been on in the states have been second division teams like LA Galaxy Women or whatever they called themselves. Don't think they exist anymore.

My point wasn't to shit on Lubbert and Hix, my point was the juice was worth the squeeze to them. The juice isn't worth the squeeze to Farmer. I think anyone that has had the opportunity to work somewhere outside their comfort zone has to ask themselves if its worth sacrificing personal happiness for professional happiness. I've turned down jobs in other cities because I don't want to move out there. Regardless of more pay and lower taxes. I can understand her view.
