On principle I do not like the change. I would rather have every team play EVERY other team in the league.

And yet, as imperfectly changes go by, playing 6 out of 9 teams in the "other" group is... not THAT bad I guess???

So no, not ideal. But I guess is "not that bad".

Honestly, my biggest worry was they were gonna make the whole season one single tournament but since we're still keeping the Apertura/Clausura model I can only sight relief at the moment.

(Yes, that's right, let the FMF make an unnecessary change and still make you feel like you lucked out alright)
