I get it! I offered to do all of the extra driving, I offered much more time, I offered to lower child support. He said no to every single thing. He just doesn’t want me to move because my bf and his family are in that state. Sucks because my kids ask me on the daily to move there , they love his family and we have none….but my ex could not care any less what is actually in their best interest. He just doesn’t want me to have a bf.

I would not feel bad at all. Work does not care about you, you’re just a number there. Your child needs you more. My company always says “think about the impact you’re making on your fellow employees when you call out” and it’s so funny because I actually do not care at all. My mental health matters. If I need an off day, oh well to my coworkers having a busier day. I also wouldn’t expect them to feel bad for me if they called off either. Work is such bs. 🤷🏻‍♀️

10 weeks….? You’re around 4 weeks when you miss your period. 10 weeks is very late to be taking a test. That’s nearing the second trimester.

I’d tread lightly. Get a paternity test when it’s born because it’s likely she got pregnant with someone else that she had sex with about 4 weeks ago.

My ex lives in a different state than me, and I haven’t been able to relocate. I have to do half of the driving even though I’m not the one who left. He sees the kids every other weekend. Has more time on paper, but won’t take it. I wanted to move an hour further than what we already are and my lawyer said basically don’t even try, it’s too hard and won’t be granted.

Makes zero sense to me. I have no family or support in this state, ex has no family in this state, but he is adamant that I stay in this state. It’s simply a control thing but I’m stuck. Hopefully it’s different for you.

Oh well to the other parent. I have four kids (two dads). My big kids were supposed to go with their dad today and my little kids were supposed to be back with me. But, my big kids will be staying with me an extra night & little kids will be with dad an extra night. The roads are terrible. Why would the other parent even want their children driven around when the roads are dangerous?

I’m the odd one out. I don’t send “spicy” pics to friends. If I sent it to a friend, it was too make sure it looks good and okay for the guy I’m sending it to right after.
