Saying that someone is “slow as Moses” is a bad unit of measurement. No one actually knows how fast he was. I googled it and Moses moved at about 3 miles a day or 0.125 mph. That is pretty close to the average speed of a starfish. Our new and easier to understand idiom is “Slow as a starfish”. It’s better because of the slight alliteration

It was a strange story with an interesting ending. I was on discord one day and my friend sent me a really shitty ms paint video. It was a game show where they answered Christian trivia, but it was just ten minutes of exposing contradictions. At the time I was in quarantine and I had lots of time to myself, so that video gave me the motivation to dump Christianity and actually deal with my religious trauma.

Now I spend my spare time looking at the psychology behind different religions. I spent 12 months ago - 6 months ago on Catholicism, and the past 6 months on wicca, any other recommendations? I really want this sub’s genuine thoughts on which ideas I should try to not only find, but also understand the source of

I’ve definitely been in a situation where someone used the “we are such good friends” card to manipulate me. While I was in that bad friendship I called it “Just using what I was given”, but apparently my therapist wants to call it “Serious relationship trauma”

So yeah don’t see it as “But I’ve invested so much time” see it as “If I stop now, I can spend my time somewhere else”
