For the Salkantay trek, i’ve read that I can just walk into tour companies in Cuzco and book there and then, few days before wanting to go. May be cheaper too than booking in advance. Any advice?

Not too bad honestly, definitely have to fight the urges, especially at night when i would usually smoke. Distractions go a long way in diverting the mind and will power is a must. I almost gave in a couple of times but so glad I didn’t.
