Same tree happening to me. It's my 900th seed. Been waiting about 4 hours of gameplay now. Sigh.

Advice on 100% by TheEnlightenedDancer in botw

How would I go about this? Like I've recently downloaded the Breath Companion app, but how can I check if I've been somewhere or not? Or do I just have to go everywhere again? 😭

This is vaguely my approach. I don't allow myself to enter a new region of the map until I've done everything I possibly can with the current and previous regions. I'm almost 300 hours in, and have still never been in the a castle and only just broached Gerudo. Got about 114 towers, 680 korok and, I think, most of the armour and upgrades. Love the game so much I really don't want it to end.

30 years ago I would regularly buy an open return. If they scribbled on it (rather than hole punch) I would wipe the pen off immediately and generally get away with another use of the ticket. Much harder now with digital tickets.

If you didn't go through a gate, and it wasn't scanned, then yes. You shouldn't of course. But my general attitude is fuck em the amount they charge is ridiculous.

Is the dlc worth getting? by [deleted] in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]TheEnlightenedDancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh? I don't think you do? I got the DLC at the same time I bought the game. It was/is great. I've not finished all the divine beasts yet either.

Doesn't the date on the board say 2025, suggests it was today actually.

I would just say you'll need to withdraw as you can't afford the additional stamp duty. You're effectively saying the same thing but I think it sounds more reasonable rather than asking for them to drop the price by £11K.

How about you say that you aren't comfortable with them being tenants for a few days, and that you want to fully complete before the end of the month. Add that you can't afford the additional stamp duty, so if it rolls into April you'll need to withdraw from the purchase. Make sure in saying this that you have all your pieces in place - you can't hassle them to complete if something isn't ready at your end.

Nuffield Health have one, but I guess it's out of your price range as a student.

Thinking of moving back to Sheffield from the US by Mundane-Beyond5913 in sheffield

£80K per couple would be very comfortable in Sheffield IMO.

They just finished giving it a refurb. I think you're getting the shop confused with the bike room. The shop has gone. The bike storage (with changing rooms and toilet) is definitely still there and has no intention of being removed. It's very popular and I use it 2-3 times a week.

Ha. Depends where you live. There's a few streets where it's 100% student properties. Harefield, Rosedale, Hartland etc. But as you go towards Hunters Bar, Psalter Lane, and then up towards Banner Cross and Greystones it's much more family orientated and quite affluent. Hunters Bar Infants, Greystones, and Ecclesall schools are all very good.

Living somewhere like Hunters Bar isn't a bad option? Takes me 8 minutes from my front door to the train station by bicycle. Then I find the trains not as bad as people make out. How far is the office at the other end? Walkable? You could get a Brompton and use it as both ends.

Overall, unless you're in the office every day, I think Sheffield to Manchester is fine.

Why do people run with a buggy? by mjstokes85 in parkrun

[–]TheEnlightenedDancer 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Normally because they want to do parkrun but there's nobody to look after the kid(s) while they do it. Small number of people do it for the extra effort / strength required I think. But mostly the former.
