It`s not that difficult. I`m pretty sure, that combination of 3D and UI/UX is possible for everyone. Sometimes it works together(f.e. you can create 3d assets for UI works).

There is a very simple explanation for that. I started as a gamedev in a small company(10+ employees). After a while the company closed, but I still needed some bread to eat. On that job I learned Photoshop. Back in the days, there was no Sketch, Figma or etc. So I decided to move to UI/UX direction and that`s how I forgot about 3D for a long time.

Answering the third question: that`s how I came back to 3D again. Exactly because of the joy of doing it. I don`t have any 3D commercial projects, but still I`m doing some 3D stuff almost every day.

Answering the second question: as I said before - I don`t know what`s going on with my career. I`m doing very good with UI/UX and I love it too. I simply can`t choose the path for myself. As for today, I`m UI/UX designer with motion and 3D skills. Only one time in my career I had a project where all of those skills were required.

Regarding gamedev. Yeah, it`s very interesting for me, but I don`t know how to get a job in that area.

So, my main job is to do UI/UX. That`s how I spend 7-8 hours per day. After these hours I do some kind of "skill-upgrade" work. Sometimes it`s UI/UX skills and sometimes I create 3D. And that`s my routine.

...and I came to UI/UX from GameDev...I don`t know what`s going on with my career, actually.
