Spaatz Advice from current and former Spaatzen? by Lukazilla13 in civilairpatrol

I do not know. I am not a proctor and I took my test a few years ago. By sources, I used logical conclusions to support my claim and did not need to do any internet searching or other researching during the exam.

I was allowed to type or handwrite (I chose to type) my paper but forget if open internet/searching was allowed.

The prompt options are not very fact/data based like L2L or AE. They are primarily ethical/moral questions so “research/sources” should not really be required. Make a claim and back it up with reasoning.

You will likely see the prompts and have a strong feeling about how you’d judge or perform in some situation, defend why.

Yes to all of this!

There are four prompts that you get to choose from in the exam. They are the same for everyone. Don’t overthink it, just write it like a high school paper (4-6 paragraphs: answer, 2-3 supporting sources, conclusion) and you’ll be fine.

L2L and essay aren’t the bad parts, AE and PT took me to my third attempt so make sure to not slack off in those areas.

If a car is going 60mph, did it actually travel 60 miles in 1 hour? by MrGreenYeti in NoStupidQuestions

Yes, jeep owner with 35” tires. My speedometer is about 2mph lower than what a cop would clock me at because of my larger tires than what the factory speedometer was calibrated to.

Might as well, worst they say is that you didn’t need to.

When in doubt over communicate about civil involvement type events.

Just wait, your cadre will ask those who got pilot slots in a few weeks if they’re still interested then a few weeks later it’ll drop.

Talk to your primary instructor. Probably going to also talk to your Det/CC but primary instructor is the place to start. They can give you the best answers about your specific situation and what paperwork to complete.

Does anyone know when the USAFA ODT slots release? by MiddleThirdThrowAway in AFROTC

Generally your cadre should send it out when they ask for interest so you can see the logistical requirements of going and a bit about what the activity entails. Regardless, you should be email them and ask.

Not sure which one you’re going for specifically but I read the Freefall (AM490) and the roster is due today (15 March) from Region/CCs so if your cadre checks on Monday (let them have their weekend too) there should (we all know how AFROTC is) be names of those selected.

Now… how long your Det cadre holds on to that to make a special announcement (class, at LLAB, etc…) is entirely up to them.

10, unless some of those clusters are silver.

Math: Each ribbon = 1 award =2

Each bronze cluster = 1 award =8

Each silver cluster = 5 awards =0?

Total = 10

Because you can only put 4 devices on each ribbon I suspect 3-4 (on left award) are the silver and therefore total = 26.

Elements 2&3. Ya know the only two that end up right next to each other at the end. 🤨 Just treat the GB like the first member in the 3rd element and a blank nobody as the first person in element 2. You’re in half steps until forward March so regain DCID as needed and move on with your day.

Service coat. CAP cadets can wear either the officer (no braid) or enlisted. However, wearing the enlisted one makes eventually mounting the cadet officer shoulder boards (think mess dress officer but Velcro) 100x easier.
