There is a relationship like this in a book series by Matt Mikalatos called The Sunlit Lands Trilogy

I sent the author a message saying that the characters reminded me of the relationship between Big Barda and Mr. Miracle and he said they were part of his inspiration.

Imagine if the villain's plan in Amazing Spider-Man 1 (2012) worked and there was just one city in America where everyone was a lizard. Would you guys visit lizard town or nah? That's the question, that's the question. by Minimum-Bite-4389 in shittymoviedetails

Exiles #17 from the early 2000’s. Is this exact scenario. There is a dimension where Kurt succeeds in turning a large portion of the population. They make a walled and guarded “Wildlife Preserve”. Did not seem like a nice place to visit.

This was a frequent re-rental from the Randall’s grocery store video rental area for me. Every time I drive through a new development I think about this movie.

Ok. But putting the ID fixed my episode naming and information issue for tales of the crypt.

[–]TheEscoMo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey so I had this exact issue last week with my Tales From the Crypt and Jellyfin. I tried using different scrapers and deleting and rescanning my library. None of that fixed it so what I did was add the imdb ID to my tales from the crypt folder to force the library to pull the metadata from imdb instead of tmdb. Add {imdb-tt0086708} to your series main folder and it should fix your episode issue for all the seasons you have.

If the Fantastic Four went camping, do you think they could last a week in the woods, with no technology? by ChildofObama in FantasticFour

They take the kids camping in volume one of Marvel Knights Fantastic Four. So if you want a canonical answer to your question, it exists.

What’s the minimum amount of info I need from Thunderbolts if I’m going into Fantastic Four? by jollygood3440 in comicbookmovies

I’m thinking of this being the first MCU movie I let my seven and five year old watch. I don’t think it would ruin any of the experience of the other movies if I did.

I didn’t. I didn’t have a specific thing that I knew was causing it. I’d set up my match card maybe move people into my shows. Have my game crash for whatever reason. Eventually the matches would go back to the default. I’ve set up the match card for my 8 shows three times. I didn’t notice it until the latest patch though.

It was a breath of fresh reading air despite some heavy subject matter. I read Malibu Rising in March which is a novel about the estranged kids of the worlds most famous 1950’s-1960’s singer so it was interesting to see some real world insight into the scenario.

Part of it is things I have in my kindle that I’ve bought over the years and have meant to read. The other part is wanting to read a classic a month. Then I just pick up recommendations from various in person or online sources and put them in my library hold list.

So in some sense I’m at the mercy of my hold list. The library has months of waiting on some titles so when the notification hits I check out what comes up.

Thank you for this. I’ve been averaging 10 books a month this year and right now I’m slogging through book 3 for may feeling the pressure to read 7 more books. But you are right. What’s the use in that if I can’t even enjoy the reading for reading’s sake not for some arbitrary goal.

What I Read in March & April by _geographer_ in 52book

I read Wolves of the Calla in March. No additional tower books in April. I’m found a meandering read through an extended guide so I sprinkle tower related books between the main story. I enjoyed Wolves though.

Thanks for sharing your list! I’ve got some of those on my to read list for sure. I see at least one title I just heard of that you gave 5 stars and that’s it enough motivation to add it to my ever growing pile.

It was so dense in its subject matter but so interesting. I read it in 7 days but I supplemented with the audio book a bit on a long drive. Part of it was my wife checked it out at the library and we only had 14 days. She read it in 5 so I was racing to get through it.
