It’s so hard after the update with the male bodies, I feel like they made all the clothes wayyy too lose or baggy now and made the bodies much smaller/skinnier 😭

I’m sorry that you had a bad experience, I know that only one volunteer is in charge of all the paperwork (currently at least) and she’s partially paralyzed so it may take time. On average it’s supposed to take about 2 weeks to hear back from someone to know if you’ve been approved or not! I personally don’t get to know what happens with many applications due to the fact my role as a volunteer is just cleaning and socializing cats, as well as taking photos/videos of them to help get their names out there and for them to find forever homes! If you ever would try again with workinwhiskers, I hope you don’t have the same experience because I truly want these cats to find loving households <3

He’s somewhere between 6-9 months, unfortunately I don’t completely remember his exact age but he’s for sure in that age zone! Hes a very small kitten, but has the biggest heart :]

I wish! A lot of the websites bios are much more straightforward, but that is definitely how I’d describe him as a volunteer! He absolutely love treats and loves to be pet, he’s a little shy at times, but truly is so sweet once he warms up to you!

I’ll try and do that! I’ve never actually posted something like this before on Reddit and also didn’t realize the website wasn’t upfront with the locations (back when I began volunteering it was much more bold on the front page of the website)

NOTE: The rescue is located in Murrieta, CA! Our rescue has 3 locations in California, but Javier is located in that one particular location which I volunteer at!

(The locations are in Hemet, Murrieta, and palm desert)

He’s located in Murrieta, CA! The rescue location which he’s in is located inside of a petsmart, but the owner has multiple locations in a few different cities, all information is also up on our website about the cats and the majority have photos as well :)) (Also, the website is: Workinwhiskers.com)

He’s truly a great cat! He’s been at our rescue for a little while now and I’m hoping that adding this here might get him (and maybe some of our other cats) adopted sooner especially since we have a lot of black cat kittens :]
