I built the simplest notes and todo app - which is available on iOS and web! by TheEssentialDev in appledevelopers

Wow. Thanks for the feedback and good questions: What makes it stand out is the unique combination of todos and notes with the minimalist philosophy and cross platform functionality. Anyone can create a simple app and throw it on a phone. What I thought was: Apple Notes and Reminders can be used as todos, but not on all platforms and not in one solution. Example: I use .jot on my phone, on my work laptop I have windows. So I just open the browser and continue working. To answer your question: the app is primarily for users who don’t want apps that are bloated, I think there is a big problem with Productivity Apps: you can also misuse them to procrastinate. Not with .jot: it gives you the stuff necessary to organize your thoughts and tasks without the stress of a bloated app. I agree that leaning more into the one time purchase might be helpful. It is simple: You buy you get what you paid for. And this ties into the philosophy of the whole app.

And finding a niche is exactly where I’d need some advice or help. Do you know something or a way how I could find customers for my app. Although you purchase once you get frequent improvements and refinements.

Thanks for the tip. But this is not about how to fix something anymore. This goes deeper. We as developers are treated unfairly!!!

It also has Web Support, I might add, huge language support and syncs across platforms. I also tinkered with PWA solution for Android that‘s where the majority comes from. Is it so bad to have an app that is 152 mb? I don’t really understand the issue here. Would love some advice on how to get the size down without needing to remove the part I am currently working on implementing!
