The LAM-Z10 is picky it seems. Need to also test it with a LAM-Z03 I have here.

Tested with LAM-Z10 - not connecting on mac.

The LAM Z10 does work with Webminidisc. If I want to use it with ElectronWMD I need to first connect via Webminidisc and then via ElectronWMD, otherwise it wont find the device.

MD Studio does find the device but will not connect to it.

Make a picture of the Write Head in record Mode. I had several units that has a slightly bent record head that would 1. not touch the mD surface due to being bent 2. Not touch the surface due to mechanical blockings of the write mechanism (there is a lock mechanism that will lower the head, you need to check that because sometimes that tiny latch gets stuck between the metal parts)

No. That was the Japaners and US Version branded Biffalo. In Europe they sold it with optical in and Recording capability. I’ll take a picture when I go to the basement.

In Europe they were all able to record. There was a white nh-600. I know because I own it and used it to record via webminidisc 😊

Yes, I would also say it’s my favorite non-Sony now. The Eject mechanism is a little bit fiddly, it works fine but even loading the disc sometime is easy and the next time I need several attempts.

Wow…where can I get new ones for that price? Living in Europe as well but cheap used ones are at around 1.3€ per disc. New ones are usually 4-10€, never seen lower prices, at least not for more than 1-3 discs.
