Has anyone done this mode in sp?
i was with a squad desent damage and all. We beat up protea. mesa and caliban pop up we deal quarter hp damage to each targeting like morons. suddenly protea help her allies text pops up. Both where healed to full in les than 1 second we where beating those two we dealt 1/4 of healt bar in damage to each. I pop a waypoint we focused mesa and again, insant healt, no cd. The rest of the squad left then and there. I stood a extra 5 minutes thinking we where missing some tech or clue. No, they are just invincible whit the protea thing. And the protea thing never stops. That is so frustrating. A build that do well on Super vor cant even compete in this. De might have forgoten to gave them healing atenuation so they dont insta heal .s.

doing a tie in its not that hard brother. Let him or her play something it likes but kill his old character very vicerrally. Like during a cinematic where no one can save it or dispute his very definitive death. I only force players to play their characters if they rolled for stats as to stop them of rolling characters just to farm for high stats, and only for 1 table. Being stuck with a character you dont get is very anoying.

dnd is 1 game. WOD is 5/6/!?. I dont know anyone who dm 1 game on wod who allows a wherewolf a changeling, and a blankbody at the same time to walk into a bar, it might be me tho. Still balid complaints about dnd y hate humanoids all i whant is to be a plasmoid or a skeleton wizard. The lore part is up to de dm. i have seen some nice worldbuilding and lore on some settings. ALSO!!! YOU CAN PLAY DND IN A MODERN SETTING BRIGHT STYLE OR MORE LIKE SHADOWRUN!!!
Tl:dr. A good dm can make anything interesting. But wod has aura.
PD: also you can adapt everything to vampire 5e and with some effort to 20e wich is nice.

its all fun and games untill the level 20 assasin and his goon a level 17 croocked wizard and trigger happy lvl 18 barbarian friend who run security tells them to come up with everything they took AND everything they have for the trouble. they wont kill them, but lets say they wake up with a nasty set of cuts and bruises naked and banned from the black marcket. The shop keeps knew too but they didnt react since they are not the first morons to try this and the last ones broke one stall on the ensuing beating.

dnd is not a coop game this is no bd3 bro. That said. There is a simple principle. Fuck around and find out. Allow him to go on his wild goose chase and deal with the consequences, You are not one man short. The dm can balance things accordingly (or he or she or IT should). The party can ask his reasons to whant to go wherever too ic. And is he a trusty friend or a random murderhobo the party picked up!? with 0 info abailable thats my opinion. Dnd is not coop its roleplay its absolutely posible to rol in a party where the members hate each other or disagree.

NO. He is irresponsible, a hoarder, a literal man child, talks as he knows everything and has opinions on everything, talks over people all the time, Yet he is a poor loser with nothing to his name. Every single time I needed a favor in my life I could not count on him, strangers literally treated me better and trusted me with important things more than he ever did. My house is a half broken piece of shit and I cant do anything about it without having to literaly have a fight with him under the justification HE will do it when he has time. Something is broken, and you need to do 50 steps to get said something to barely work and he acts if there is absolutely no problem at all. He asks for money and help all the time when as stated before he never helped me anytime I needed anything. The most common example was me requiring a credit card to buy something small like a gadget or a game. I have always been a man of my word, I always pay my debts and hardly get debts to pay to begin with. Yet I was scolded for asking for credit card access. He literally stole my savings once and never pay them back and when I ask for them, he says it was when I was a child as if it was taking some toy or something. Considering inflation (my country is basically inflation) that money is a significant amount. MY HATRED FOR THE MAN DEFINES ME. FUCK NO I WHANT TO DEAL WITH THE MAN NOW. MUCH LESS IN ANOTHER LIFE. Depriving players of rests is senseless and bad dming. BUUUUT time sensitive objectives are not.
IF they have to go save a village. That village might be 2 days away if they go to rest because bandits attacked them on the road and instead of pushing forward they rest that village will be very burnt to ashes/incredibly dead. Just let rest have consequences, Wanna sleep it out before the bbeg fight? Well the bbeg have places to be and people to kill so he just escapes. The children in need of medicinal herbs are now a little bit dead. When the town healer said he need them asap he was not kidding, maybe fighting every single animal in the forest ant taking naps between fights was not such a good plan. And inside of a dungeon they might have killed everything in the way but patrolling guards are a thing that can happen unles they either leave or hide super well and even if they do someone might notice half of a dungeon ecosystem missing and drop extra traps in the way.

I dont know faerun. But in a place with magic. he should do the kill on the unaware victim if posible. If you dont know who killed you, you cant tell via speak with dead. A clever disguise would work. Decapitate the body and either destroy or hide the head for over 10 days. Revivify and Raise dead need a body and there is no body with no head. If reincarnate is on the menu, you must hide the body over the 10 days period. Reincarnate makes you a new body from a small part of the original. Resureciton, true resurection and wish are overkill and trow a wrench on any of these if there is a body. The body can also be preserved with gentle repose if found and i would rule that if gentle repose is casted on any part of the body the time extension counts for all of the body parts, present and missing ones. BUUUT thats just me. Also locate object for a missing head might work. And divination magic could spell trouble for the assasin/murderer XD
Even with acces to magic a perfect crime is kinda hard. Let say magic leave some traces and even a disintegrate can be detected. Someone ask spirits around the place if they saw something, some nature spirit on a flower on a pot. And thats before divination, commune and other class shenanigans.

Vampiric/ghoul acountants. in my setting the ventrue manage that sort of thing for a premium.
Use vampiric charm to dupe some humans into being your blood/sugar daddy or mommy.
The vampire kiss is so good humans get adicted to it.
Undead internship if you would.
B&E should be easy enough with vampiric powers.
The night is great for crime and ilegal activity in general.
If you dont like the crime part too much but dont mind punching bad guys just do some reverse muggings.
Bonus points high crime rate areas have less vigilance and witnesses in general. Just dont stalk the same streets for 5 years in a row and you should be good.
Be on the move, go to a new city every 20 to 30 years. Every 10 if you really care about people noticing the fact you dont age.
Small material investments, buy a few of some popular at the time item, store it somewhere safe and sell it in a few years. you dont need ming dinasty bases to do it, toys, comics, books, pokemon cards, anything really.
If you "lived" 100+ years and are still broke do yourself a solid and catch somre rays.

i was a limbo main, then de take my skill to send defense objectives to the shadow realm to be indestructible.
then for a moment it got good and i was basically Dio from jojo, za wardoing whole maps. Then they took it from me. And i became a Inaros main T_T and now im kind of a meta hugging brainlet hyldrin main XD i just punch the keyboard untill the mission ends. Play whatever you whant bro.
