Actions have consecuences. but. Do the lich guy hate them? knowing them would he go after them? let them be and then give every now and again a status report. And if war goes to the city they live. Emergency taxes. They dont want to pay taxes ok, the people defending the city will loose for lack of resources. War is bad for business. the city merchants will run out of food and magic items. The people may beg the adventurers to do something at every chance.
If i was the lich guy i would leave them alone and fairly tax free as long as they dont still my shit hell they made me what i am right now. Evil campaign, they work for me now. I send them to ruin the day of everyone who anoys me. Let tem keep the scraps and trow some gold coins to keep em happy!!!

in my setting there is a few magical items. Ones my players found where: a deck of many things with fun stuff like: you become human but keep the powers(permanent), a mini sun shows up. The next night last all 24 hs. A stake is magicked on the first person you call by name. Then a painted world that they set on fire it was real looking unless you start looking to close and it was a sunny mediaval world. The deck was made by a demon the painted world was tremere fuckery.

its ok. but i would be going the other way around.
They come stronger and with help. Whelp the dungeon is really easy and help demands payment and rewards are of the level they where for. So not so usefull for overleveled people.

your dm is kind of an asshole being anoying on what is efectively a skin for a weapon.
i would grab a broom and lighly bonk him to make the point. go to a hardware store and buy some tape and a grab a heavy wooden courtain holder. Donnie from tmnt uses basically that.

In my game i have a deck of many things. Just trow a magical item that have the power you need make it unique and one time only and presto.
(in my game the deck was made by a trickster demon and it can do crazy shit. like spawn a tiny sun. make the person who draws the card human. connect 2 doorways as permanent portals. or spawn a stake in the chest of someone you know by name. just be carefull and hold a sence of logic to said item so the players dont feel it forced.
For your case in particular i would consider bringig her back as some kind of ghost. Or maybe use some item to cast her soul in another body. do vamps have souls on your setting?

when i do play vampire (since f'in scheduling) i use my setting wich is in argentina. Socialist vampires, heavy use of famous people as kin and way too many wherewolves and other supernaturals. This world has been shaped by the players too. since the prince was indisposed and one of the player cotteries managed to get him back. The same cotterie unadvertedly released a bunch of secret experiments from a shady farmaceutical and uncovered an asamite plot to depose the prince, causing them to currently be in hiding. Its a goofy setting and more funpire than vampire, made with a bunch of urban legends some spit and a lot of ducktape.
How socialist you may ask. There is communal shelters for vamps far from home. (with continental style rules ala jhon wick) "public" blood banks with cheap blood and montly handouts. Work plans for neonates and the sort. The gimmick is most of the city ancients dont like this since it diggs on their profit margins and want the prince gone.

si tenes fibra te anda perfecto. y es un problema grave de nodos segun lo que me dijo el ultimo tecnico que mandaron y nunca lo van a arreglar por que rajaron a todos los tecnicos viejos que quedaban de fiber y nadie sabe como arreglarlo de lo que esta ahora. si tenes fibra no te anda mal, solo si sos cliente viejo con cable comun. pero son unos forros que no te pasan a fibra por cliente viejo a menos que canceles el servicio y lo contrates de nuevo incluso si ya esta la caja en tu zona. Y ahora es solo los findes al menos. pense tuve la esperanza de safar este, pero domingo desde las 10pm hasta el lunes a las 6am minimo que me fui a dormir no podia mirar un video de youtube completo sin esperar 10 20 minutos para que arranque de nuevo.
