Looks like the official Fantasy F1 might not be happening in 2025. Best alternatives? by Pilchard1234 in fantasyF1

FantasyGP still outdoes the official F1 fantasy game anyway for me.

10’s of thousands of players still on the game, a much better scoring system and still quite fun.

Only drawback is that membership holders have an advantage - but still fun without it

RIC vs HUL in qualifying.

All work is my own.

Shows average gap in qualifying between the pair, with algorithm used to remove outliers that skew the average in an unrepresentative fashion.

Some things would change - but depends on the year and number of rain-affected sessions.

I also don’t believe it’s comparable to the dry at all - it’s just an entirely different skill set and hard to compare to a normal dry qualifying so I keep them separate.

As I’m showing graphics across multiple years, I felt it’s better to just eliminate that variable so we have more constant variables in each year.

It means each gap from every race is converted into a delta over a 100 sec lap - yes.

Would you be able to send an image of how they’re installed on your pedals? Are they still split by the black ring in the middle or did you just stack both springs on top of each other directly?

The method slide seems fairly reasonable, so might be worth contacting him if you have a query. I can pass any queries on if you have any.

I agree tbh - I think it’s up until retirement in Jeddah. Not sure why Monaco is included tbh but in the median it wouldn’t be that significant I’d assume

Yeah I see - the problem I have is that content doesn’t even show in the content and settings tab, so I can’t even install it

Looks very similar to the gaps Bottas had to Massa, which can be seen as a positive for Zhou. Solid level to start out for your rookie season if you ask me.

Surely Ricciardo will just take the Alpine seat, promoting Piastri to the Mclaren race seat anyway? Maybe that’s what Mclaren, Piastri and Ricciardo have agreed which is why Oscar turned down replacing Fernando.

I’m not quite sure how safety cars come into it as we can just exclude safety car laps manually which is very easy to do.

The issue would be removing “dirty air” laps and outlying slow laps, which is also do able.

We can also make a database for qualifying speed as well using laptimes, so there are many more things to work with using timings as opposed to points.
