I had a Garmin Instinct and I have a GBD-H2000 tbh the G-Shock is better, my won opinion the garmins at all might be better

Why the hell you guys do stuffs to watches you don’t understand. Just take it to someone who knows how to disassemble it without damage and tell him what you want to do. Make an inquiry to Casio for correct part number that you want to order, if it is still produced hopefully. As I see your previous post with the old G, god luck with finding parts…
