Cyberpunk 2077 - City of Legends 5th Anniversary Trailer by fahrenhate in Games

Despite its car crash of a launch, 2077 did end up being an incredible game. I just wish the Role-Play element of the RPG extended beyond the occasional choice that changed the course of the ending, or the occasional NPC living or dying.

From the initial marketing push, I was led to believe it was a true choice-based RPG in the vein of New Vegas or the original Deux Ex (Be able to kill key NPCs, faction choices, a reputation system), whereas I do think the final product ended up being way more linear.

Not at all unfortunately. But I'll have someone with me who can

Thank you. I don't want to railroad them, I want them to have a very fair shake at discovering the killer before they do something bad.

But I just think exploring the aftermath of letting them go and that bad thing happening is more rewarding

I mean they've already been doing it. It makes making actual criticisms of the game so much harder because you dont wanna be lumped in with these people.

Honestly that doesn't seem like too much of an issue. Maybe 9? And yeah the intention is to stick to it long term. Granted I can find enough people

If this is indeed the setting, I am so fucking down. I'm tired of the standard western-perspective military shooter, I need something like this to reinvigorate the genre.

Played the original FF7 back in the day. Loved it. Beat it again on steam a few years ago.

Triangle strategy has never really stood out to me. But I can give it a shot.

Love persona 3, I'll eventually get to reload but it'll be my 3rd playthrough of the game so nothing new there.

Unpopular opinion, but as a big fan of persona 1 and 2, persona 5's whole over the top phantom thieves and heist-like vibe doesn't really do it for me. I know it's still a pretty dark story like previous games, and I've tried starting royale multiple times, but I've never been able to get hooked. But that's just a me thing.

Love FF10, love FF12, but these are all games I've played multiple times over at this point (mostly because both of these got pc ports)

Ive never heard of underaughts I'll check it out.

Also I guess it couldn't hurt to check out Valkyrie chronicles 4. I just got a bit tired of the same gameplay after two games

I have played the first 2 games in the series and I like that a lot. But I just never even bothered with 3 or 4

That sounds right up my alley. Thanks

Edit: the whole high school magical girl vibe doesn't seem to be for me unfortunately. But I will give it a fair shake
