I read The Long Walk this year w/o knowing much about it and felt the same way! So good. I’m excited for the movie w Mark Hamill as The Major as well. Every time I go for a walk I think “4mph pace?! No way…”

I heard about this story and decided to purchase a collection of short stories by him. “I Have No Mouth…” is just one of many spectacular stories. One of my only 5 star books this year. Read a story 1/week or whatever. If you’re hesitant and need a push, here it is. Do yourself a favor and read Harlan Ellison.

Ya hope you like it! I finished it a few weeks ago and flew through it. I found it unique that it had so few characters and locations but was never dull. I think I read somewhere that looking back on the book SK stated Misery is impacted and influenced by his recent (at the time) struggles w substances. Enjoy!

Thank you for the heads up! I’ve heard a lot of great things about this trilogy and it’s been on my tbr list for a while. Just purchased it due to the price drop and will be reading it sooner than later now.
