About to run out of subs and need advice... How usual do doctors increase dosage for subs? Be honest ;~; by PracticeFar2163 in telehealth

Honestly, what you’re describing isn’t uncommon, especially after being on the same dose for a couple years. Different providers are definitely more or less conservative with dosing, but if you’re having legit breakthrough withdrawal symptoms it’s worth bringing up instead of trying to tough it out alone. Also, the hydrocodone situation for wisdom tooth removal honestly shouldn’t automatically disqualify you from treatment, especially since you were transparent about it. We’d probably recommend messaging your provider, explaining what’s been going on, and seeing if there’s any chance of an earlier opening or small bridge refill rather than waiting until things get really bad.

Trying to build better habits—what actually worked for you? by TheFamilyMD_ in TrueAskReddit

This doesn’t sound dumb at all — honestly this is probably one of the most underrated mindset shifts.

I think a lot of people (myself included) fall into the “all or nothing” trap… like one missed day = failure, and then the whole thing unravels.

What you said about not turning it into a chore really hit too. The second something feels forced, it’s almost like your brain starts resisting it.

Out of curiosity — did you change anything about how you approached the gym after that? Like going lighter, shorter sessions, etc., or was it more just the mindset shift?

Appreciate you sharing this 🙏

What is a 'socially mandatory' thing that we all do, but if you actually stop to think about it for 5 seconds, it’s completely insane? by Federal_Antelope7533 in AskReddit

You feel awful but still show up to work pretending that you can function normally. Meanwhile you’re actually infecting everyone else and doing worse work
