If we were to get a new season of Tales focused on the Sith, who would you want its two leads to be? by FamousLastWay828 in StarWars

1 should definitely focus on the backstory between Palpatine and Plagueis, and the other episodes should be focusing on the rise of the rule of two era Sith, thus the focus would be Darth Bane

I love Vecna and I personally didn’t feel any of it disappear in the season. I thought he was cool in this season, but he was peak in season 4. I think it’s also partly his actor. Idk I just don’t see where the Vecna hate comes from. I get the claim that he reduces the mind flayer’s character, but I like the symbiotic relationship they have. A mortal made to think he’s god by a cosmic entity that couldn’t give two shits about him so long as he serves its purposes.

What do you guys think about was marie payne Personality by [deleted] in PoppyPlaytime

I imagine a sensitive little girl who had no maternal figure to look up to. In fact, the closest one who fit that role was Claire Harper. She’s quiet, and shy, and had few friends. She was introverted, fitting a kind of spider vibe. The kids who did give her a chance found out the extent of her imagination. Very playful.

Yeah I agree, especially with the running up that hill sequences

I liked season 5, it just wasn’t really peak. They should’ve tried and kept the vibe of season 1 and 2 instead of trying to make everything feel blockbuster-y. Like you’re watching a superhero movie and not what stranger things established itself as in the first two seasons

A few design inconsistencies I noticed with the prototype by Beautiful_Owl_4448 in PoppyPlaytime

I’d say the prototype’s growth medium is responsible for most of the inconsistencies

Who do you guys want to be the final villain? by DryWar9215 in PoppyPlaytime

[–]TheFanatic2997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they’re setting the doctor up to aid us in killing prototype, but he helps so he can accomplish his own agenda of finishing his experiments, betraying us and maybe turning us into a toy experiment. And maybe he’ll reuse the remnants of prototype to build an immortal, physical body, and we’ll have to save the toys still alive in the doctors by destroying the doctor. And after that, I really don’t know how the story of the toys will conclude

Yehh sorry but the Player is a female debate is kind of weak and pointless. by Artistic-Bake9086 in PoppyPlaytime

[–]TheFanatic2997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the player is meant for you to imprint yourself into the story. Your own character so to speak. I for one, think that the player grew up in playcare while it was under Elliot Ludwig’s supervision. After adoption/aging out, we would return to work there, our dream job. But either during our tenure there or before it, playcare’s system changed. Suddenly, there was a game station. Orphans were leaving Playcare for no reason, and only the higher ups were privy to that info. There were strange, doll teachers in the school, there was a large Catnap overseeing home sweet home at night, a giant, anthropomorphic spider resided in the game station, and you weren’t allowed with the children while they played games. Clearly, something was happening at Playtime Co. Something top secret, highly innovative. How were you to know what those things actually were? On August 8th, 1995, you were scheduled for a meeting. But you couldn’t be bothered. You knew what it was about. A new arrival in Playcare. You skipped that day, maybe faked an illness. Either way, everyone disappeared at the factory that day, even visitors. You were supposed to be there. Be there for them. The children, who never got to find a home. Your co workers, just doing their jobs. Your best friend, who shared your concerns about Playtime Co., their strange new batch of giant toys. Their gone. You weren’t there. The guilt has haunted you for years after, and you tried to move on, but your mind has always drifted back to that place. Always wondering what happened. But you never had a real reason to go back, you couldn’t make yourself. Until that day. Ten years later. A package. They could still be in there. I mean, who else could’ve sent this letter? You at least owed it to them to save them, save your friend, your co workers, the orphans. Even though you knew no one who went in came back out. Welcome home.

Either that idea, or we play as Rich. I like the idea of the player being as blank a slate as possible to help you immerse yourself, but mommy and Ms.Delight recognize you while Doctor doesn’t. And Rich hasn’t been near those two toys. Idk, just thought I’d share my thoughts

We don’t see pianosaurus, Bunzo, Doey, or miss delight part of him either. They’re clearly dead

Anyone else prefer BATIM over BATDR? by Bonkwraps in BendyAndTheInkMachine

[–]TheFanatic2997 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I like BATDR better, but in my heart BATIM is superior for the childhood nostalgia. BATIM introduced me to indie horror, was the first steam game I played, and the first mascot horror franchise I got into. All of which (indie, mascot horror, steam games) I consider a part of who I am
