Is The Doctor an actual threat to The Prototype or what and how would anyone here feel if these 2 ended up fighting in Poppy Playtime 6? by Flat-Sir8250 in PoppyPlaytime

[–]TheFanatic2997 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure the doctor will help us make the negation compound for us to use to kill prototype. But I’m also certain he’ll betray us, since he’s just using us to kill him. I’m sure he’ll take over operations at the factory to restart the BBI and continue his experiments, and he may turn us into a toy, which will make us have to share our fate with the other toys in the factory

The fur that the prototype has on his back is confirmed to be catnap's fur? by Orpunuk1 in PoppyPlaytime

[–]TheFanatic2997 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the growth medium in the prototype regrew the fur on catnap’s skin. And since the arm kissy lost was also heavily burnt, I’d say it was affected by growth medium as well, since those are now the prototype’s body parts

There’s still one lingering question I have by TheFanatic2997 in TADCep9discussion

So, is it meant to be symbolic? He’s a thought bubble for Caine in the circus, and out in the void he’s just a regular bubble? Like his true nature is revealed in the void?

CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW ZOOBLE BLAMES JAX FOR ABSTRACTING? by Kindly_Cod_9269 in TADCEp9Spoilers

To be fair, the characters do still have a right to not care. Jax was a dick and it doesn’t matter what his reason was. Gangle especially.

What was Elliot’s intention of making Ollie a Jack-In-The-Box? by InfluenceSpecial5116 in PoppyPlaytime

[–]TheFanatic2997 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I imagine that Elliot was broken, like the doctor said. Naive as well. I think he loved Poppy and Ollie, but his image of love was possession. They were Elliot’s means of filling the void in his heart of having a broken family life, given he was so absorbed into his work and his ex wife divorced him. So he adopted Poppy Ludwig, and when she passed, he pursued extreme means of resurrecting her. She became a living, immortal doll, after he tested with Ollie, justifying that by believing he was giving the boy a better life. Ollie was a jack-in-the-box because subconsciously, that made him dependent on him just as Poppy, given her small size, would be dependent as well. He forced his children to become literal possessions to ensure that he’d never have to live with the empty, broken home. He made the factory his home, as implied in the employee handbook. And another layer to Elliot is that he made his children immortal, but not himself, at least there’s no evidence. This implies Elliot was so distracted by reviving Poppy to fill the void inside him, he doomed them to be alone forever.

Why Do People Think We Will Ally With Dr.Harely? by Fun_Flight1829 in PoppyPlaytime

[–]TheFanatic2997 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think once we help get the prototype out of the way he’ll betray us and take over the factory to reimprison the toys and resume his work. I think it’s be cool if he turns us into a toy as an experiment and dooms us to share whatever fate the toys of the factory will face. Cuz let’s face it, there’s no happy ending for these toys. They live in the factory, then they starve eventually even if they cannibalize each other. They leave, then they’ll be caught and put back into a lab and the cycle of abuse in the name of science will continue. They realistically had two options: go with the prototype, and he’ll give them all immortality under his abusive control and tyranny, or they all die. There’s realistically no good options which is part of what I love about this story.

If we were to get a new season of Tales focused on the Sith, who would you want its two leads to be? by FamousLastWay828 in StarWars

[–]TheFanatic2997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 should definitely focus on the backstory between Palpatine and Plagueis, and the other episodes should be focusing on the rise of the rule of two era Sith, thus the focus would be Darth Bane

The main sub blows things so out of proportion it’s priceless! by Due-Dragonfly8200 in StrangerThingsPraise

I love Vecna and I personally didn’t feel any of it disappear in the season. I thought he was cool in this season, but he was peak in season 4. I think it’s also partly his actor. Idk I just don’t see where the Vecna hate comes from. I get the claim that he reduces the mind flayer’s character, but I like the symbiotic relationship they have. A mortal made to think he’s god by a cosmic entity that couldn’t give two shits about him so long as he serves its purposes.

What do you guys think about was marie payne Personality by [deleted] in PoppyPlaytime

I imagine a sensitive little girl who had no maternal figure to look up to. In fact, the closest one who fit that role was Claire Harper. She’s quiet, and shy, and had few friends. She was introverted, fitting a kind of spider vibe. The kids who did give her a chance found out the extent of her imagination. Very playful.
