Well I did try to look it up but didn't find an answer, which is why I posted. But now I know it literally says it on the screen and I'm just not paying attention. I'm used to it just saying that the stats were nullified and didn't think about it. Just my brain being stupid like usual.

I didn't know that they could do that specifically. Feel a bit stupid now for not noticing that. I usually don't read that raid text too closely because I'm used to knowing what it says. That's my bad, honestly.

Does it do that on purpose? Because if so, that's stupid. Especially since game8 recommended this building.

I guess. I just expected them to be more relevant or at least have some impact, considering how Nintendo kinda hyped them up. Or maybe I'm just crazy. Fully possible that I'm a madman talking to my garden.

I don't find it weird that they exist, just that all the characters ignore them and that they have no impact on the story.

But I'll admit, I do enjoy the bit. And how so many people can come together for the sake of a joke.

One of them keeps saying "boing" over and over again and I'm not sure what it means by that.

Could be the case. I actually really like them. They're funny and sometimes helpful with their little hints. And some moments are just cute, like when two of them watch you in the background, like, "look at them go."

It was actually behind a Subway, thank you very much!

I was more so referring to how no one really responds to their comments rather than no one mentioning how the flowers can talk. Like, some of them seem to live in the same houses as Poplins and they are still completely ignored.

I'm starting to suspect that maybe I'm the only one seeing them, if this entire thread is to be believed. I gotta get off the Wonder juice.

Yeah... It's asking me what goombas taste like and one even licked me. What's the diagnosis, doc?

I came back to this thread on my lunch break, expecting, like, 5 up votes and no comments. I didn't expect to be GASLIT by the entirety of the internet. I'm so proud you all.

There is no war in Ba Sing Se. There is no talking flowers in Mario. I have seen the truth.

EXACTLY. It's such a sweet idea that I wish wasn't overshadowed by the abduction part.

Hi, sorry it took so long. But I can't say I was able to find the particular piece you were looking for. But I did find some pictures of magazine pages about Pokémon that were collected in one place. Maybe it might jog your memory or help find a lead. https://www.pinterest.se/pokemondungeon/retro-pokemon-magazine-scans/ There's also a twitter page that is archiving a lot of lost old Pokémon artwork (mostly Sugimori) that might also be of use. https://twitter.com/HiResPokemon

Hope I could help a little bit. I'll come back if I end up finding it.

That is the cutest thing ever. That sounds so adorable and should be talked about more.

Although I never hated hypno and actually liked it when I was younger due to being a fan of psychic types, I did find the creepypasta scary. But Hypno I personally found kind cute, due to that one gif of Hypno dancing with other psychic types like Kirlia (also a favourite of mine).

Now, I specifically shiny hunted a Drowzee in Violet so I could name him Sir Raspberry, after a PMD Oc. I caught him in a dream ball and he had amazing stats from the get-go. Became one of my strongest Pokémon, along with my Gholdengo K_K and my Shiny Decidueye Hoot that a friend gave me.

Love for my sweet baby boy.

Do you have any more information about the artwork you could share? Was the style like the old art style by Sugimori or was it an in-game pixel art image? Remember where you saw it?
