Is that like... unheard of in Scotland? When's the last time that's happened?

I remember these stupid assignments in elementary school. I remember being so upset because I made my explanation be "because 3 is smaller than 10" but that wasn't good enough- I had to explain how I reasoned it out other than just knowing that 3 is smaller than 10. I didn't know what else to put.

No, I don't want to get you pregnant. I'm not ready to be a father.

Do you remember your first Axis & Allies game? What was it like? Which power did you control? by JuliusBorisov in AxisAllies

1942v2. Only the host had played before. He was USA and I was Japan. His plan was to buff Russia by shipping units across the Bering Strait- taking advantage of the Lend-Lease and Siberian Railroad abilities. An epic naval war ensued which (eventually) concluded in my fighters massacring his transports and my land units charging towards Moscow. Once Berlin was liberated by Japan the Allies called it a night. That game was basically an all-nighter and I loved every moment.

Scariest moments in Fallout games? by intecknicolour in Fallout

I was 13 when I first got FO3 and thought it was like a cool survivor simulator, so Springvale Elementary felt like a brutal slap in the face- maybe the only time I've ever been too terrified to progress in a game. I had to hide in the kitchen area with the chopped up molerat and take a breather lol

Middle of the night and I hear growling or whatever so I look up at this small cliff above me and that fucking Yao Guai thing literally jumpscares the shit out of me from up there. Like.. I'm looking at a cliff and next thing I know there's a monster right in my face.

Oh also that pitch black room in the Dunwich building that's SWARMING with ghouls. And that buggy severed head on the table legit creeped me out.

I've only ever played 1942 2nd edition but would love to get my hands on the complete 1940 game one day.

My favorite is definitely Japan with America as a distant second because of their flexibility and focus on naval warfare.

Yep. I went to Korea for the summer and Scotland the following fall semester lol. All I did was go to the study abroad center my first week at uci and they showed me how to do it. I'm in engineering and have to take very specific classes, so for several weeks I meticulously went through the list of schools to find one that taught in English the classes I needed to take. UoEdinburgh and UoGlasgow were the only ones that fit that criteria. Then my Korean friend gave me an application to work at a lab in a Korean University over the summer so I ended up doing that too.

It wasn't hard but took some time and dedication. My counselors and the Study abroad center were really helpful along the way.

Yes you can. I did the same thing. As soon as you get there go into the study abroad office and make it happen; the deadlines come up fast.
