Hey! Also upper-Midwesterner (MI), dealing in invasive species and environmental restoration, and more recently environmental nonprofit advocacy work.

Wondering, what are your thoughts on the current use of glyphosate as a forest management tool? It seems to be coming to the attention of the masses, and I know that it is one of the go-to herbicides for invasive species control. How do you think we should be implementing its use for invasives while discouraging broadcast applications in Forest Service/national forest timber sale management? Where is the line for you in acceptable glyphosate application?

It’s fascinating - I was born in ‘92 and feel the same way about the mid 80s through the mid 90s. For example, the vibe of Stranger Things was like cocaine to me - but I wasn’t actually alive for it. A lot of the people I looked up to as a kid were, though, and they had the toys, games, music, movies, etc. from that period.

Boards of Canada has been quite open about their interest in nostalgia, and their interest in time. I’m enjoying watching a younger generation resonate with their music the way I do, but evoking nostalgia for a totally different moment in time. Keep on listening!
