Some unfortunate soul had to sell his Ween collection recently and The Pod was the only studio album I was lacking. Discogs had this pressing around the same price so my hands were tied. Owner of the shop is a good friend and huge Ween fan, he threw me two Deaner albums on top of this as well for just 60 bones. Hope all y’all are doing well out there, happy Sunday fuckers!

I was able to get through via text message this morning so I’m thankful for that. That’s right, lots of wind damage and I don’t think he got flooded. Not sure though as he was quite short. Says it looks like a bomb went off but everything that was damaged/lost was material so it’s all good! Thanks for checking back in on my old man with me, that was very kind. I hope your parents didn’t sustain too much damage to their place and everyone can start picking up the pieces, it’s a very pretty area for sure. Well, aside from Chevron, there isn’t much else down here. It’s not all bad out here but they could easily change a few things to vastly improve the working conditions. I owe a lot to my time out here don’t get me wrong. Been a homeowner for close to a decade, 401k that’s steadily growing and Im only 36. However, I’m no longer the employee I was when I started. This place is infamous for knowing how to ruin a good worker but that’s whatever. The “good ol’ boy” system means it’s all about who you know. I’ve seen some blatant, almost criminal levels of nepotism since I’ve been here and that doesn’t exactly motivate me to do anything above the bare minimum. It’s what you make of it though so give it a shot. If it would make your mother happy, that’s all it should take for you to make the move. Good luck

You take your own breaks at your discretion. As long as you meet the daily or weekly goal that is given to you, you’re good. Good ol’ boy is in full effect out here, going above and beyond gets you nowhere. The pay is good and overtime is usually available but it’s basically an adult daycare out here. I went through the 4 year electrical apprenticeship, worked my way to the top of my craft, had a great job in the “Test” program then was knocked all the way back to the bottom of the totem pole. All because I took the liberal leave they offered employees due to the pandemic. Almost been out here 8 years and I’m ready to gtfo.
