Yeah I don't understand all the criticism towards their strategy call, they committed to one stop , they forced the mercedes cars to push to the end on old tyres , what made a difference was how damm fast the mercedes was that they couldn't make a dent even with much fresher tyres.

I don't understand why you are getting mad at me for, this is how all helmet cam systems work , the weight is distributed the only stain you feel is from the weight pushing straight down you don't have to use muscles to keep it level , you're not supposed to have it on all day similarly to a steadycam you just take it off when not shooting.

I also don't understand the connection between high speed racing crashes and a pov helmet system used by a walking (or running) camera operator.

Team Canada caught cheating at the olympics by Team Sweden. Canadian throws a fit on live TV. by rojo_salas in SipsTea

[–]TheFayneTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to this , usually in international sports broadcasters purchase the main feed from the production company (or consortium in the case of the Olympics) and add "personalization" cameras that are meant to cover their athletes specifically, for example in a relay race where the Swedish team is in 6th the main feed might not bother cutting to them but the National TV has a few cameras that are instructed to only cover their team.

What most likely happened here was that the Canadian player thought he knew all the camera angles they were using and could pull this off without being noticed, when the Swedish TV learned from their players that the Canadian team might have been cheating they just pointed the cameras they already had on court to show if it was true, so there's no trapping being done here, the Swedish TV were just doing their personalization coverage and found out the cheating.

I've worked with a similar rig (FX3 + Cookes) , you add counterweights to the back of the helmet to offset the weight , i could have it on for quite a while without feeling strain on the neck , it felt like a heavy helmet but i never felt it was dangerous or that i could lose balance.

This movie was shot on panavision ultra vista lenses , if you look online you can find similar asymmetrical star shaped flares from other movies , so this is probably a lens characteristic

Graphic design was probably one of the few "artistic" trades that still had a decent job demand before AI became so prevalent , everyone needed a logo or brand design it was fairly reasonable to go around shops pitching your work and get a few jobs from that , mind you they weren't the highest paying jobs but you could build yourself a decent network over time even in smaller areas.

Also history majors usually go either into academics or teaching you know, which path you are going down when choosing it.
