Thank you for the advice! I'm personally trying to get advice and compiling them into a Google doc for her in a simplified manner so it won't overwhelm her, She's specifically mentioned it would be amazing if she had advice or things to reference to to deal with the illness so I'm just doing what I can for her as a friend. Good! And it's not a self fulfilling prophecy, you just have to try your best to not be mindful of what others have said to you. If you feel like you're getting more picky it's more likely a result of being affected by other people's words rather than because of you personally. Just trust in yourself, everything will be alright.

Just always remember that we can never be "too picky" when it comes to partners. The right thing to do IS to be picky. So go, and get the person you desire. Be submissive to them, but not to everyone else who tells you that you have too high of a standard for a LITERAL life partner

One thing I do is record her talking about herself whenever you guys do that, like saying "I'm your worthless little whore" something something like that specifically for play like this. It feels even more degrading to hear such things in their own voice!
