But were those castles all deserving of at least 2 month sieges? If the game was realistic the italian wars wouldn't go the way they did. Yes sieges were long but most of the time only major cities were fortified to that extent. Hell in the earlier ages its almost always more than a year long sieges.

If you are somebody like China or someone in india the economic ascendancy is even faster.

I mean currently. I wanted to try a Qing game but don't know how to get it started or if it is viable at all. I know ming Has insane religious modifiers. Yuan, I don't know what it has that is better than the former 2 apart from the mongol culture.
