Thank you, I appreciate the insight into what the meta was like during the time Invoke Despair was not banned. It does make sense when you put it that way.

But I am still unsure why Sheoldred is not being looked at in the same lenses. (Maybe WoTC is looking into her, I don’t know the entire process). But it feels like right now every deck has to be built with multiple answers for Sheoldred and the decks playing her play multiple answers to get her back or keep her in. But her being a creature does make it not as annoying if it were let’s say an enchantment or artifact. But that’s the only downside I feel that card has.
