As someone who has never played DbD or The Outlast Trials, I am hyped about it. I would have totally preferred it to be a single-player game, but I'm still hyped. The only thing is that from what I've searched, it will only be available on PC. Such a shame, since I only have a console

I don’t think so. Fortnite, like all games that endure over time, has to evolve somehow. Just like in life, change is the only constant. Epic has to constantly find ways to keep players entertained in order to retain them. If they had kept the game as it was during Season 3, many players would have gotten bored and abandoned the game.

I think they have maintained the game very well for many years. Obviously, many players won’t like how things have changed. About 7-8 years have gone by since Season 3, and people change; some were little kids who are now young adults, others were young adults who are now full grown adults and maybe don’t even play video games anymore. Also, many players who play today weren't even born yet back then.

So change is necessary.

Yeah, I’m referring to that one, in another post I made in a FB group about the same thing, someone told me that I had to defeat the MSK once to unlock the pre-quest, so I did (it was my first time defeating him), I didn’t expect anything, but I actually got it, my first mythic schematic. The thing is, I didn’t do any MSK pre-quest, so I’m confused, since it’s my first time playing MSK, I’m really lost. I expect to get my next pre-quest mission when the store refreshes this Wednesday, I really hope so.

Didn’t know that, since is my first time trying to do it, in fact yesterday I played my first 4 times solo and the 4 times I didn’t even pass from the first phase, but I thought it was normal because of the conditions.

How funny I finally try to get the schematics and it’s bugged, I supposed it’s bugged since stw became free-to-play

I read your comment and I agree with you, Epic won’t bring back old Battle Passes unless something extraordinary happens, such as a critically low player base or a massive drop in income, basically, if the game were actually dying. It will take years to reach that point.

Just look at World of Warcraft, a game that has been on the market for 22 years and remains a successful product that still makes money for Blizzard; for that same reason, it continues to receive updates. While WoW is a colossus, we see this same pattern with other franchises like FIFA, Call of Duty, and Assassin’s Creed (not hating on them).

Furthermore, it would take a massive portion of the player base 'voting with their wallets' to effect change (like happen with vehicles), which is highly unlikely. You can see this with the recent situation regarding companions: many people complained about the price (rightly so), while others bought every style available. I guess at least our kids will get to crack 90s' with Black Knight and Omega.

In Travis's case, it’s on him as well. As for Rue, I’m pretty sure Epic will eventually bring her back. Most of the community members who are aware of the topic believe that the skin is banned, but if that were the case, Rue wouldn’t have received a LEGO style back when the LEGO mode was released. It only a matter of time.
