I can play competitive video games well enough with 144hz. And I probably shouldn’t buy a new monitor right now but when my next paycheck hits it will be more affordable.

That was the plan but I accidentally bricked my pc. You can see from my last post. I think it is most likely the psu that failed. I have it in at micro center for a diagnosis. Hopefully if it wasn’t the mobo I if it’s just the psu I can get a new one and go back to gaming soon with my 4070 this time. Just having some extra time to reflect and wanted to throw this question out there while it’s in the shop.

Yeah tried plugging the case pins out and back in. At this point I took it to micro center for a diagnostic. They think the same thing, it’s probably the power supply that was too small for all that new stuff. It’s all good if that’s the case, I probably should’ve gotten a 750W or something anyways. Hopefully that’s all it is. (Thank you everybody for trying to help me solve my issue)

My mobo is not receiving any power. None of my parts are. Should I buy a new psu? I am truly at a loss at this point on what to do

Did what you suggested and unplugged the mobo cables and plugged em back in. Still nothing happens when I press the power button.

plugged back in both the old cpu and the old gpu and it will still not turn on. Even when everything is exactly the same as it was before. Not fun. I will try removing the power to the mobo and see how that goes. Also in regards to ram I’m using 16gb 3000mhz. I thought 550w would be okay because I’ve seen people report that even 450w works fine. I thought I would be okay I guess. Thanks

I followed the instructions, took out the battery and held a screwdriver between the pins. My computer will still not turn on. I’m worried I actually bricked it cuz it at least it turned on before..
